Other than that, Thomas Elms, Mercedes Morris, and Kheon Clarke return to their respective parts as Tristan Green, Lexi, and Captain Milosz.
Recap
Lexi returns to her previous role as the captain of the medevacs, resigning from her role as captain of the cargo crew. The Thompson Community Emergency Room notifies Nurse Hayley by emergency alert that all flight nurses will be working in the ER due to a staffing shortage.
When a patient develops ascites, Hayley calls a doctor to administer therapy. Hayley is forced to confess that she is dating someone after Crystal unintentionally notices the “Cute weirdo” message on her phone. After receiving her endocrinology results, Crystal simply turns to go.
When Crystal arrives to treat the ascites patient, Kyla, the woman who is with her, pulls a revolver on her without warning. Although Hayley asks Dr. Paul to prescribe Oxycodone, he becomes suspicious when he sees that she is still taking the medication six months after her operation.
While both Hayley and Crytal are being held at gunpoint, Kyla accidentally shoots Crytal in the chest when Hayler tries to shout for help. Matthew is a patient of Stef’s who has an unusual pacemaker.
As Hayley tends to Crystal’s gunshot wound, Kyla intimidates her by threatening to use her organ in a liver transplant to cure her mother. Crystal had no prior expertise in doing surgery because she was only a medical student.
Furthermore, getting a shot wouldn’t be helpful either. Since Lexi is the only one left at the hospital following the lockdown, she must treat the youngster who ingests their father’s medication and becomes poisoned.
The procedure was skillfully conducted by Crystal and Hayley. After the procedure, Dr. Yana gives Crystal a call to inform her that her fascinating research may soon be published. Hayley appears to have developed an addiction to oxycodone pills as a result of the pain, endangering her life over time.
Hayley misses her mother. A fun-filled night out can have unanticipated repercussions. Stef feels compelled to finally divulge the secret that led her to Thompson after a perilous call with a patient who is paralyzed.
Crystal is left in shock as a sick patient strikes close to home. When Wheezer finds out about her secret, Hayley finds it difficult to accept the repercussions of her behavior.
The Thompson ER is staffed overnight by SkyMed flight nurses due to shortages, but a difficult patient causes havoc in the hospital.
