The seventh season of “Selling Sunset” is almost over, and as always, the drama never stops. On October 12, Netflix released the trailer for the upcoming season, which hinted at additional drama between Jason’s ex-girlfriend Marie-Lou Nürk and Chrishell Stause of The Oppenheim Group, as well as a heated confrontation between them.
However, the couple has since broken up. Viewers can expect that this season, along with a lighthearted rivalry between the ensemble of “Selling Sunset” and their other Oppenheim branches, such as “Selling the OC,” That’s not all, though.
November 2nd, Netflix announced that “Selling Sunset” will conclude its seventh season on November 15th with a bonus reunion special that Tan France of “Queer Eye” will host. The last time fans saw a reunion on the program was during the fifth season in 2022.
It was a highly charged episode that focused on Stause and Jason’s breakup’s aftermath and exposed Stause’s newfound infatuation with G-Flip. There’s no telling what will be revealed at the next reunion, given all the drama that takes place in season seven. After the sixth season of “Selling Sunset” debuted on May 19, the beloved Netflix series announced that it would be returning for a second season.
Recap
G and Chrishell’s connection is one of the season finale’s central mysteries. Although their marriage has been announced, details of the ceremony are still kept under wraps. A diamond band on Chrishell’s finger alludes to their covert nuptials. It’s interesting that because it happened in between seasons, this important scene was not shown on screen during the show.
Feeling underappreciated and resolved to take charge, Bre puts up a daring suggestion for a new agent-brokerage sales split. Bre’s suggestion, however, is met with resistance from Jason, who claims that no one at the office is given special treatment.
Bre issues an ultimatum when her idea is decisively turned down, causing her to abruptly leave the office. Up until the new Los Angeles office’s big opening celebration, where tensions are high, Bre is not mentioned in the plot. Jason, the main character of the season’s drama, is crucial to the proceedings at the party as he handles personal issues and negotiates tumultuous professional dynamics.
A touching scene occurs in the season finale when two important characters, Chrishell and Amanza, who have been at odds throughout the season, finally get down to talk about their miscommunications. Chrishell needs privacy, while Amanza wants the group to be cohesive and function as a team.
At last, Cassandra appears at the grand opening celebration. Chelsea extends her welcome and brings her over to speak with Bre. The two women’s disagreements seem to be resolved by Chelsea, but Bre starts to show resistance. Citing numerous credible sources, Cassandra confronts Bre about her reputation as an unfriendly person in an incredibly courteous but overwhelming way.
Bre responds with derogatory remarks directed at Cassandra’s attitude. As the tension builds, there’s an explosive moment where Bre appears to be about to face Cassandra. Eventually, in an unexpected change of events, Bre gets up and rushes out. Feeling frustrated, Bre utters the words, “Fck this place and Fck this show.” She takes off her microphone and walks away.
Commission Impossible, the season finale of Selling Sunset Season 7, unites the many themes of tension, struggle, and personal development that have characterized this season. Certain narratives conclude with dramatic exits and violent confrontations, while others find closure and reconciliation. Fans are excited about the Oppenheim Group’s future as the season draws to a close.
