To be in the military is no joke, as it requires years and years of hard-core training and one needs to build the endurance of steel to be able to fight off any battle that comes in front of them. We often think, what does it takes to be able to fight off any challenges just like the ones they go through in the training and how would be fair if we had to do that whilst we are living our normal lives?
For many, this is a dream and part of their passion that they get to fulfil in the show SAS: Who Dares Wins. The show is based upon challenge-based quasi-military training as they participate in the game through various challenges that are given to them in the show. This game is meant to test their endurance, toughness and their presence of mind as they make it through the challenges, survive and at the same time go through immense pressure and stressful situation.
Indeed this reality show is not for everyone, and this game has gained so much popularity over the years, that it has been also adapted into American and Australian versions with the same name. The original version of the show is based in the United Kingdom and the show has been running for 8 seasons now. In between those seasons, they call upon a team of men and women who go through the most unforgiving situations.
The show is narrated by Shaun Dooley and has been hosted by Ant Middleton, Matthew Allerton, Rudy Reyes and Mark Billingham. They are also trained in the Special Forces and they are often the people behind the motivation of the participants and also establish the challenges and guide the contestants to survive through the most difficult of tasks. The show premiered its season 1st on October 19th, 2015 and has been running since then with its series eight premiering on January 30th, 2023.

Format of SAS: Who Dares Wins
The show is based upon the structure of training that the military of the Special Forces wherein the elements of the training are replicated for the contestants making them a little less threatening or dangerous to life. They invite a set of participants who are then left to survive in this situation and where they have to survive and also go through multiple testing of their capability of being one of the forces.
Earlier the show had male participants, but later in 2020, they for the very first time women were also called as partcipants, making a whoel section for them. In the on-going season 8, the participants are tested as they are left in the mushy and dangerous forests of Thung Ui which is located in the north of Vietnam. As the show takes place there, the training is set for a duration of two-weeks which most of the participants called as the most rough two weeks of their lives.
Mark Billingham is the Chief instructor for this season who trains the contestants for the forest warfare and the directorial staff will also be joined by onemore person this season. Chris Oliver is a former Royal Marine Mountain Leader and a ex-Boat Special Service Officer who will be giving out valuable insights in the show.

The show has been one of interest from the very start. The viewers have always enjoyed the realistic and non-scripted nature of the show as they get to see the real and raw emotions and the struggles of the partcipants. The show has garnered huge popularity for the very same reason.
Season 8 came in with a bang and everyone has been excited about the very same thing. The next episode of SAS: Who Dares Wins is not as far as we think, as the epsiode 5 of the season 8 will be airing on Monday, February 20th, 2023. The episodes of the show are aired weekly on Mondays.
