The last Episode was titled The Mother of all Balls, which was a ball design, which means that the contestants had to showcase treated from looks, and one of the looks they had to construct themselves using the materials being provided.
So the materials being provided are basically like menswear because the look that they have to showcase is like you’re supposed to be the Mother of the ball.
But the dress that you’re going to be wearing is supposed to be made out of menswear. And very manly menswear, like black shirts, lumberjack boots, and all of that stuff, which is a very, very interesting way to have contestant showcase their creativity and their style.
Now as far as the other two teams are concerned, the first one is supposed to be inspired by nursery rhymes, and the 2nd is supposed to be inspired by an iconic mother. It could be anyone like a famous iconic mother, so that was interesting. And it’s also a very easy runway look if you think about it.
Recap
Before diving into RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 16 Episode 4, let’s quickly recap and review the previous episode. The last episode had certain twists because, in this season, the Queens are able to win immunity, and Sephira and Jane did win immunity. They got their little immunity potions.
According to Rue, they can either use the munity potions on themselves, or they can use them to save another queen. However, the immunity potion has an expiration date, so that’s something that we need to keep in mind.
Another request was that contestants would be rating the queen again. However, the catch is that they’ll be rating Queens before the judges critique. So after they selected their top 3 and their bottom 3, those 6 contestants will remain on stage and then the judges will get to critique them.
Another thing that happened was that Rue came into the workroom, which resulted from the previous two episodes. And Jane was a little worried because she was like, “OK, so there was also the show of how each Queen voted. But no, it didn’t, so Jane’s safe for now.
So you know, last week we had the introduction of the second group of Queens, and I had some opinions about Jane. But in rewatching the episode, I kind of like Jane. I kind of like the shadiness about her because even though she’s shady, she’s not a mean person right now.
She says some stuff that’s a little bit questionable, but she doesn’t seem like she’s genuinely mean. She is definitely good at TV, and even though the whole burger finger bit, I still don’t get it.
I can appreciate the stupidity of it, the stupidity. A lot more happened in previous episodes, but now let’s discuss when Episode 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 16 will be released and what will happen in it.
