RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 8 consists of the most talented drag queens from previous seasons facing each other in a glitzy competition where the best makeup, dresses, singing, and performing of playing dress-up as a woman will eventually make one lucky man the winner of a hefty $200,000 cash prize and a spot at yet another drag queen contest of the RuPaul brand, the Hall of Fame, which includes an even tougher competition.
Hosted by RuPaul and with Queer Eye For The Straight Guy’s Carson Kressley, Ross Matthews, Ts Madison, and Michelle Visage in the judge’s panel, over the course of twelve weeks, we’ll see how these men do their best in trying to play a woman in this long-running LGBT reality music and talent variety show competition.
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 8 Episode 5 Recap
The fifth episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars eighth season had the final eight of drag queens facing each other for yet another elimination. With Darienne Lake being sent home, this episode saw Jimbo win for the second week in a row the Challenge while losing the Lip Sync for Your Legacy. The song was Dua Lipa’s “Hallucinate.”
Meanwhile, Jessica Wild and Kahanna Montrese were at the bottom, up for elimination, but neither of them ended up getting the axe. In the end, it was Heidi N Closet who rage quit the competition after a heated argument with Kahanna over the Snatch Game in which Kandi and Alexis also had a few heated arguments.
But all in all, the competition moves on without Heidi and moves on for episode six with yet another upcoming elimination, all while Jimbo seems to be secure on his way to winning because he’s the one with the most wins over the past episodes, only beaten by Jessica and Kahanna once. For this challenge, Jimbo pocketed five grand. Hopefully, he won’t spend it all on Kylie Jenner Brand Lip gloss.
