Rings Of Power Episode 7 will show us the aftermath of that volcano eruption. As for who all survived that Mountain Doom eruption, Galadriel definitely did because we know she lives till The Lord of the Rings storyline. Halbrand will also survive because he is probably meant to be the Witch King. Theo, Arondir and Bronwyn might have some important parts to play moving forward, so they might survive as well. Don’t know about Queen Miriel and the rest of the Southlanders.
As we saw in episode 6 just as things appeared to be going smoothly for Halbrand, Galadriel, Arondir, and the Nmenorians, we discovered that Adar had staged a bait-and-switch and given the evil sword’s hilt to the traitor Waldreg to bring back to the watchtower. The floodgates opened, water poured beneath the Southlands, and the long-dormant Mount Doom erupted when what we now learn to be a key was inserted into the statue of Sauron.
In the Trailer of episode 7 of Rings of Power we see The Southlands, which will soon be known as Mordor, are completely coated in red ash when Galadriel awakens to the scene. The rest of the trailer focuses on Nori’s apparent skepticism of The Stranger in light of the revival of his dark power last week, as well as Durin and Elrond’s attempts to try and convince the father of the former to let them mine for Mithril ( as we all know it doesn’t end well).
Rings Of Power Episode 6 Recap
Before diving into Rings Of Power Episode 7, let’s quickly do a recap of the previous Episode. Now we will discuss when will Episode 7 of Rings Of Power will release and what will happen in it.
Rings Of Power Episode 7 Release Date & Preview
Rings Of Power Episode 7 will release on 6 October 2022 on Amazon Prime Video. New episodes of The Rings Of Power are released every Friday. And since there are a total of 8 episodes in the first season, you get to see the season finale on 14 October 2022. With story details being guarded more securely than some state secrets, the Prime Video staff is keeping quiet about this one. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make a reasonable assumption about what our friends in Middle Earth might be facing next.
So, given that the majority of this week’s episode was devoted to one half of our cast of characters, I suppose that episode 7 will catch us up with the other half. Specifically, Elrond, the Dwarves, and the Harfoots. In order to save the Elves, Durin and Elrond will travel to the King and urge him to let them mine Mithril. The King will initially angrily reject their request, but Elrond will eventually convince him—at the Elves’ cost.
Celebrimbor will think in the meantime about forging some sort of powerful jewelry that he is creating. We shall discover more about the Stranger’s history and the reason he is in Middle-Earth, though we won’t learn very much more. There will be some Harfoots who choose to remain in the shire.
