After the exciting news that Reacher has been renewed for a fourth season by Amazon on its Prime Video platform, there’s even more to look forward to. Hidden in the announcement, there was confirmation that Reacher Season 3 will arrive soon.
The show, featuring Alan Ritchson as the heroic and kind-hearted Reacher, will return in 2025. While the exact date wasn’t shared, fans will only have to wait less than three months, which is not too far away!
Based on the popular novels by Lee Child, Reacher has become a massive success on Prime Video. The second season was a hit, becoming Amazon’s biggest TV show in 2023. Given this, it’s no surprise that Amazon has already ordered a fourth season, and the third season will be a great way to build excitement for what’s to come.
What to Expect in ‘Reacher’ Season 3?
In August, star Alan Ritchson shared that the upcoming season would follow a more “classic” style. The third season will adapt Persuader, the seventh book in Lee Child’s series. In this story, Reacher goes undercover to save an informant from a dangerous criminal connected to his past.
“I can’t reveal much about Season 3, but I can say there will be plenty of classic Reacher adventures where he gets deeply involved in situations. This time, it’s not about family or his past. He’s just living out this new adventure, and it’s really working well for the show,” Ritchson said.
Ritchson will return alongside Maria Sten as Neagley, but several new faces will join the cast too. Anthony Michael Hall will play Zachary Beck, a corrupt businessman, while Sonya Cassidy will portray DEA Agent Susan Duffy.
Other key characters include Brian Tee as the villainous Quinn, and Johnny Berchtold as Richard Beck, a college student whose kidnapping attempt sets the season’s events in motion.
Reacher will team up with Roberto Montesinos as DEA Agent Guillermo Villanueva and Daniel David Stewart as rookie Agent Steven Elliot. The towering Oliver Richters will play Paulie, a character even larger than Reacher himself.
