In a world where the Dragon Keepers protect humanity with the power of the Dragon Gods, “Ranger Reject” (or “Sentai Daishikkaku”) offers a refreshing take on the traditional hero-villain narrative. The series takes readers on a captivating journey through a complex and morally ambiguous storyline.
Initially, the Dragon Keepers seem like the typical heroes, battling against the Villainous Army of Evil in their quest for world domination. However, as the layers are peeled back, the truth behind their actions is revealed. The Keepers, who supposedly should be defending humanity, are the ones exploiting them for their own benefit. They force the invaders into mock battles solely to gain popularity and profit from merchandise sales.
Amidst this false facade, a single invader rises, no longer willing to be a pawn in the Keepers’ game. Determined to expose corruption and dismantle the oppressive system, he catalyzes an anti-Ranger movement. It marks the beginning of a captivating action series that challenges the notions of heroism and villainy.

Throughout the story, readers are introduced to many characters, each with their own inherent motivations and ideals. The line between good and evil becomes blurred as the series explores the complexity of human nature. The Keepers, despite their oppressive actions, are not entirely devoid of redeeming qualities. Some may genuinely believe they are working for the greater cause, while others are motivated by personal desire.
Likewise, the invaders, though victims of oppression, are not entirely innocent. While their plight may evoke sympathy, their inherent evil tendencies and destructive nature makes it difficult to align with them wholeheartedly.
“Ranger Reject” delves deep into the moral gray areas, presenting a thought-provoking narrative that challenges readers’ perceptions. As the story unfolds, it uncovers the intricate layers of power, manipulation, and the complex interplay between heroism and villainy.
Prepare to be enthralled by “Ranger Reject” as it unravels a tale of deception, conflicting motives, and the struggle to redefine what it truly means to be a hero or a villain.

Ranger Reject Chapter 94: Recap
The chapter was a flashback of Ukyo’s life until then. A couple of guys are beating up Juji. But suddenly, one of the guys comes yelling back, warning the others of the student council president, Ukyo. Hearing this, the bullies got scared and were about to escape when Ukyo busted open the door and reprimanded them for underage smoking and violence.
Due to this incident, three of the involved students were expelled. Standing in front of the notice board displaying the expelled students, Ukyo criticizes Juji for never standing up for himself, even when the other party was obviously wrong. She tells him never to bend in front of fear and to get mad if anyone wrongs him, as only then can he escape his life as a bottom feeder.
Ukyo had always been driven by anger, and even after she became a reporter, she just couldn’t let the injustices of the world slide. That’s when this whole “Ranger” and “Invader” thing being a farce struck her. It started as a hunch when she felt something strange about the “Invaders” origin. As she kept searching, she came across the pink keeper, thus knowing that her suspicion was indeed true.

She wrote an article to get the truth out, but it didn’t get published; not only that, but she was also transferred to another department as if someone was trying to keep the truth hidden. But she didn’t give up even if it wasn’t official; she would do it alone. Unfortunately, she had caught the attention of the organization behind the keepers.
She thinks all is fine as long as her informant, pink keeper Saika Momoe, is there to give testimony. But saw the news broadcast that she was found dead in her apartment. Losing all hope, she rushes to Momoe’s apartment to find something but is denied entry. She realizes that she had messed with the wrong people and that no laws or regulations could save her.
She begs the men in suits to forgive her and let her go, as she would never do such a thing again. But just then, Juji hits one of the men in the back of his head with a baseball bat knocking him out; he motivates her by saying that Ukyo isn’t as he remembered her to be. He rebukes her for letting such a minor setback put her flames out; didn’t she say never to bend in front of fear? This reignites the flame inside Ukyo’s heart.
Back to the present, they have injected themselves with the compound that turns humans into “Invaders.” Juji questions if it will be alright, and she assures him that everything will be fine as long as they believe in themselves. The chapter ends with both seeming to have become executive-rank “Invaders.”
