An old face will be greeting Foot Soldier D in he had crossed Ranger Reject Chapter 148, the one he had crossed blades with in the past. The small scenario turned into a big debacle where D’s life is on the line and everyone is on his feet. It was only through outside help that was he able to get away from the situation, but whether or not he is safe or not is a different question.
D found himself broken and panting in an alleyway where no one could reach him for the time being. He was thinking about his options and what he could do from there on out. His new heart told him about all the options that he had from there on out.
D’s Heart told him to run away to the best of his ability as he was overpowered and overgeared. His enemies had tools to deal with him in one blow meanwhile he was broken and needed time to heal. D refused to run away because of the two people who were doing their best to help him in the situation.
The foot soldier protagonist opted for running away in the end but in doing so he got most of the attention on him. The rangers got closer to him with ease but lost him near the riverbank. D was rescued by a third party, and it was someone who used to belong to the red battalion in the earlier days.
