The upcoming comedy Queen of Oz developed by and starring Catherine Tate is a BBC One take at satirizing British Royalty. This six-episode mini-series will tell us a fictional story about a British Royal Family member whose life of partying hard and living life as if nothing matters suddenly takes a wild twist the moment when the Royal Family asks her to step in and put on the crown.
Set between the United Kingdom and Australia, we’ll see how Catherine Tate’s character hilariously shifts from being a middle-aged party-hardy woman into a monarch with the civic duty responsibilities inherent to the throne and how she struggles to adapt to that situation. With that in mind, we prepared all the information you need ahead of the premiere to watch this promisingly entertaining series.
