The trailer is a hell of a ride. But before we move to that, let’s have a quick glance at what the new installment of Predator has for us in its store.
Prey Plot
Prey takes place in 1719, over 300 years ago in the Comanche Nation. The film tells the story of Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior who wants to prove herself to the tribe. She grew up in the shadows of some of the legendary warriors roaming around the Great Plains. Things take a turn when an unlikely enemy surfaces.
Naru thrives to protect her tribe when they realize that they are being hunted. The Prey she has been hunting turns out to be unlike anything she has ever faced. She comes to realize that she is facing a highly evolved alien with a technologically advanced arsenal, thus leaving her no option but to use her survival skills and, at the same time, protect her tribe from this alien.
Prey Trailer Breakdown
The brand new official trailer of Prey opens up with a character named Aruka questioning Naru and the reason she opted to choose hunting. Naru answers with a knack for proving them all wrong who believe she can’t. She believes the thunder and lightning in the sky signaled that she is ready.

It’s a matter of time before she tells her tribe, who seems to not believe her at first until they see this entity in reality. Thus leaving the tribe to work together in order to take it down. We see a back-and-forth battle between the hunters and the Predator.
Eventually, Naru comes to realize that the Prey she is facing is a far more skilled hunter than any one of them. But she knows how to survive and is going to use that skill to an extent. We see her preparing for the same with Naru also possibly figuring out how to kill it while the Predator continues to wreak havoc on every other person it sees in sight.
Producer John Davis in an interview, said that movie goes back to what made the original Predator work years ago. Davis believes this movie could be second best or could equal the first original Predator movie.
