Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 6 will be the aftermath of Lorenzo’s death, where we’re going to see his funeral. But the Russian strike came back after an attack from Dru, and this caused absolute chaos with the Tajadas, with the fire starting between Dru and Cain, and Monet will try to get control. But Dru, Cain, and Diana will all be wondering what’s left after their father’s death.
Now with Tariq, we’re going to see him confront Effie and maybe even Brayden. But not only will this have their relationship apart for the time being is also going to impact their business. Human capital made the point about each of these characters brings different skill sets to their organization, and without Eeffie and Brayden, some parts of their operation won’t exactly be plain sailing smoothly.
But as usual, we’re gonna run through the Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 6 Trailer, bringing in all the other images and clues from previous teasers and trailers as well.
Power Book II Season 3 Episode 6 Release Date
Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 6 will release on 21 April 2023 on Starz. Now I know a lot of people were asking, what’s this episode going to be airing next week? Well, as far as I know, Episode 6 should be airing next Friday, so we should be good. I know we are used to seeing a break after Episode 5, especially when we were watching Power Book II Ghost, but it’s on the schedule to air next week, so we should be good.
I believe the break may be after Power Book II Season 3 Episode 8. We used to get breaks after episode 8 all the time in the original Power. So we’re going to see what Starz wants to do because they are changing up everything.
Power Book II Season 3 Episode 6 Preview
The title of Power Book II Season 3 Episode 6 is called “The Land of Lies”, and the description of the episode reads “After a shocking revelation destroys his connections in both his professional and personal life, Tariq wants explanations. Tragic events push the Tejadas toward conflict as they cooperate with the Castillos to exact revenge”.
So those are the key elements of this next episode. We’re going to see Lorenzo’s funeral. We already know that it’s about to be a shootout. I mean, tensions are getting really high in this show. I mean, the title of the episode is called “Land the Lies”, so you already know it’s going to be a lot of secrets being revealed. And we’re finally going to see Tariq’s reaction to Effie and Brayden as far as what they really did with Lauren.
Lauren is going to be a problem in my opinion as the season continues to air out. We saw her in this trailer having a conversation with Jenny Sullivan talking about she wants her life back and we also see her talking to Cooper Saxe.
So what can we expect in episode 6 titled “Land of Lies”? Now according to Power Book II Season 3 Episode 6 trailer we know we will be at Lorenzo’s funeral. Your girl Monet talking about “I am in charge now so stuff is about to change”. But I don’t believe she’s realizing the consequences of her actions. Ber kids, and they’re about to lose it. This family is going to be broken for a long time coming. And when they find out that Monet is behind this, it’s going to be hard for them to forgive her.
Now Cain will be taking that chain and putting it on himself. This is what we were talking about in that official trailer as far as it being Lorenzo’s funeral. And this to me is the official throne. He is officially taking the thevTajada throne even though he was blackmailing Lorenzo. His pops ain’t here no more, so seeing that Lorenzo was out of the picture for real, now Cain gonna have to really step up. And y’all heard him in the trailer talking about family 1st and that’s exactly what his father was all about.
Tariq Will Confront His Crew
So it’s not just Traiq’s reaction I’m looking forward to seeing. I want to see how Cain, Brayden, and Effie will react. The real problem for Effie is she really has fallen for Tariq. She told him that she loves him in Episode 5 and the next thing we’re going to hear her tell Tariq in Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 6 is it seems like “You’ve just seen a ghost”.
But the look that Tariq is giving Effie, I think she better has a very good excuse, which in my opinion I do think she does. Let’s not get it twisted, she did go behind two weeks back and she did betray him. But if she didn’t betray him, where would Tariq be? I think he’d be in prison looking at four walls for quite a number of years, but Tariq doesn’t see it that way.
At what seems to be Lorenzo’s funeral and here we’re going to see Tariq at Ghost’s grave. Tariq says that he doesn’t know who he can trust, and that pretty much sums up the game.
“Trust no one” because there are no friends in the streets. So let’s see how to treat navigates to Lauren’s Secret. Because I don’t think it’s going to be too long before we see him going up Brayden as well as Effie, and based on some of the official season trailers and scenes, we’re going to see Tariq confronting Effie in Episode 6.
Now, it also now makes sense why at some point we won’t see Effie making a deal with Cain behind Tariq’s back. She’d probably be out of the business, but it does seem like Cain will have her back.
Now not only will we see Tariq confronting Effie, but I also believe this is the Episode where we’re gonna see Grandma Estelle return and in a much better state than we saw her in Season 2. And she’s gonna have some words for Tariq that might just irritate him. She’s gonna tell Tariq he’s just like his father. But in his mind, he believes he’s better. He believes he’s smarter.
Lauren Will Go Against Tariq?
Now with Lauren, she tells Jenny that she wants her life back, and this is after Cooper Saxe blew up Jenny Sullivan and told Lauren that Tariq didn’t do it and he saw the look on his face when he found out she supposedly died. But Jenny’s been manipulating and lying to Lauren for a while now, just so she can build this Rico, even though Lauren told her it was Effie who tried to kill her.
Now with Saxe, I was on the fence after Power Book II Ghost Season 3 Episode 5, Would he continue working to help Johnny Sullivan? Or would he completely turn? And it seems like Saxe is trying to put Tariq St. Patrick behind bars. Not necessarily for what happened to Lauren, but for all the other things that he has done.
Saxe says that Lauren’s testimony is the only thing that would make him pay for all his crimes. And I think we have to be fair to Cooper Saxe. He’s an OG who’s been around for a while and he knows Tariq St. Patrick is far from innocent. He’s committed carless of murders, helped others cover up murders, and he’s also been in the drug game for a while. Saxe knows it, but just as I have enough evidence to prove it.
But can he turn Lauren against Tariq after she has been lied to over and over again? Let’s not forget what happened in Season 2. She was manipulated by Professor Milgram and that definitely left a bit of taste. So her relationship with law enforcement isn’t the best, but regardless, she still is a problem for Tariq, the Tajadas, and everybody else. And for that reason, I still think she has to go.
