A potential collaboration between Palworld and No Man’s Sky is drawing fresh attention after Pocketpair’s publishing and communications lead, John “Bucky” Buckley, revealed that the studio has rejected a huge number of crossover proposals that did not fit the survival game
. “We don’t want to just shove random things into the game,”
Buckley said while discussing Pocketpair’s approach to collaborations.
Buckley has previously expressed interest in a crossover with games including No Man’s Sky, Fortnite, and ARK, provided the partnership makes sense for Palworld. His latest comments caught the attention of Hello Games founder Sean Murray, who responded to a post about the rejected collaborations by simply tagging Buckley.

The exchange quickly became more playful when Buckley replied with lyrics from Eminem’s “Stan,” writing,
“Dear @NoMansSky, I wrote you, but you still ain’t callin’…I left my cell, my pager and my home phone at the bottom…I sent two letters back in autumn, you must not’ve got ’em…
Anyways, I hope you get this, man, hit me back, Just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan, Bucky”
Murray then responded in a way that further fueled speculation among fans.
The two developers have been teasing the possibility of a crossover for months. However, neither Pocketpair nor Hello Games has officially confirmed a collaboration.
For now, fans will have to wait for an announcement, but the public exchanges have made a Palworld and No Man’s Sky crossover feel more possible than before.
