Earlier this week, Ichijinsha revealed ONIMAI! I’m Now Your Sister! Manga Getting An Anime Adaptation starring Marika Kōno as Mahiro Oyama and Kaori Ishihara as Mihari Oyama. The anime was based on a manga by Nekotofu, which began serializing online but is also being published in Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Rex magazine. The anime series is a lighthearted slice-of-life comedy. Kodansha USA has been publishing it in English since 2004 and describes the plot as follows:
A normal gamer, Mahiro found himself waking up as a woman one morning. Turns out that his scientist sister, Mihari, decided to try one of her experiments on him… which has disastrous results for Mahiro. One thing is for sure…life’s going to get a lot weirder from here on out! Mihari is equally committed to studying him as he is committed to returning to his life as a game-playing shut-in.
Mahiro appears to have a timid expression in the newly released visual. The boy began as an eroge addict but changed into a shy girl overnight. You have to admit, Mihari has an amazing knowledge of science. ONIMAI, as you must have predicted, is going to be a comedy in which logical things won’t occur. Furthermore, will Mahiro ever be himself again?

Ichijinsha revealed Nekotofu’s ONIMAI! I’m now your sister! manga is being adapted into a television anime starring Marika Kōno as Mahiro Oyama and Kaori Ishihara as Mihari Oyama and the rest of main cast of the series.

As Mahiro wakes up without a significant part of his manhood (all of it, really), he becomes confused, but then realizes it’s because of an illegal experiment his sister conducted on him. He’s now unable to play erotic games (eroge) because she spooked him. They have now embarked on a tug-of-war between the two siblings. Mahiro seems to be losing in a big way.

Marika Kono (Saki in Mitsuboshi Colors) as Mahiro Oyama and Kaori Ishihara (Shota in Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) as Mihari Oyama are voice actors of ONIMAI! I’m now your sister!.
