In the previous chapter of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, Heewon follows the prisoners to reach the underground prisoners, and honestly, things have started to look suspicious since then. The place was shrouded in darkness, and there wasn’t a single washroom that was available for so many prisoners.
Heewon was shocked and disgusted to see that the place was a den of monsters that attacked and ate up the prisoners ruthlessly. Finally, the main Demon revealed himself, and he already knew about Heewon, referring to her as the Incarnation of the Archangel.
It obviously meant that the goddess did not find the Demon’s actions evil and required punishment. The Demon simply asked Heewon if peacefulness was truly a Paradise. Even the happiest of places had a dark side to them, but surely it didn’t mean that a ruthless place like this was Paradise either.
The Demon explained that the sacrifice of a few was necessary to maintain paradise. In his own way, he was giving the people who failed to pass the opportunity to do the greater good. Heewon was sure that there was a way out of the scenarios since even the Constellations existed.
It meant that the scenarios would end one day, and they could all live normal lives. However, the Demon asks if she truly believed that the scenarios would end.
