Nintendo has officially launched its Customer Appreciation Sale, giving Nintendo Switch owners the chance to pick up dozens of first-party games at some of their lowest prices. The promotion began on September 13 and includes digital discounts through the Nintendo eShop, with selected physical games, downloadable content, accessories, amiibo and apparel also receiving price cuts.
According to Nintendo’s official announcement, the promotion runs through September 26, 2026, and features discounts of up to 30% on a wide selection of Nintendo Switch titles. Nintendo described the promotion as one of its largest sales and said it was made possible in part by tariff-related refunds.
Major Nintendo Switch Games Reach New Low Prices
Some of the biggest highlights are Nintendo’s classic first-party releases, several of which are now available for significantly less than their usual prices. Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 have each dropped to $27.99, while the bundle containing both games is available for $48.99 instead of $69.99.
The promotion also includes Metroid Prime Remastered for $27.99, down from $39.99. Other major games receiving 30% discounts include Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Metroid Dread, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Splatoon 3, Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

Several newer releases are also part of the promotion. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Mario & Luigi: Brothership, Princess Peach: Showtime!, Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition and Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition are among the games discounted to $41.99 from their standard $59.99 price.
Nintendo’s official store currently lists Metroid Prime Remastered at a sale price through September 27, although individual sale availability can vary by store and region.
Beyond the eShop, Nintendo says participating retailers are also offering discounts on physical games, amiibo and other merchandise. This gives players additional options if they prefer physical copies rather than digital purchases.
The sale is particularly notable because many of Nintendo’s first-party games rarely receive substantial discounts. With titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom dropping to $48.99 and the Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 bundle reaching $48.99, the promotion gives Switch owners an opportunity to pick up several major releases for considerably less than their regular prices.
Nintendo’s Customer Appreciation Sale is available now and is scheduled to run until September 26, 2026 in the United States. Players can check the Nintendo eShop or participating retailers for the available offers, with prices and product availability varying depending on the sales channel.
