The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is Nintendo’s open-world action-adventure game that reimagines the traditional Zelda formula around exploration, experimentation and player freedom. Set in the ruined kingdom of Hyrule, the game follows Link as he awakens after a century of slumber and sets out to defeat Calamity Ganon. Players can explore Hyrule in almost any direction, solve environmental puzzles, gather resources, cook meals, use physics-based abilities and approach combat encounters in numerous ways. Its open-ended design became one of the defining achievements of Nintendo’s modern era.
