Following the advice of his old master, Andrias has managed to defeat Hosan after a fierce battle, but the problems in Andrias’s life just don’t seem to end. This time, Charon has decided to unseal an ancient spirit named Kushain to finally defeat Andrias. This Ancient Spirit is not only a danger to Andrias but also to the other students. Necromancer’s Evolutionary Traits Chapter 43 opens up with a flashback of Andrias having a conversation with his master. In the flashback, we see how Andrias used to believe that a sword was the most important tool in battle, but his master proved him wrong. Andrias’ Master tells him that a sword influences the outcome of the battle, but the influence is still not much. The thing that truly decides the outcome of the battle is insight.

Andrias’s Master further adds that if a swordsman lacks insights, then he can be defeated even by a wooden stick. He then warns Andrias to never depend too much on his tools, or he will destroy his talent to become an aura master.
The focus then shifts to the battle between Andrias and Hosan. The battle has almost come to an end as Andrias has landed the final blow on Hosan. As Hosan approaches his death, he thinks about all the skills demonstrated by Andrias, and he wonders if he should have also listened to his master.
Back in the city, Carlos gathered his men and decided to go and help Andrias, but as soon as he got on the boat, he found that Andrias had already returned. Andrias tells Carlos that he was attacked, and so he had to swim to the city like a madman. Carlos gets furious, so he decides to fight those people, but Andrias stops him.
Andrias then returns to a cave to heal Tymur and Nickel. He attaches the sword devil’s arm to Nickel to improve his capabilities. Suddenly, a screen shows up in front of Andrias that shows the chances of Tymur and Nickel evolving. Andrias is shocked to see that the chances have increased so much after the battle with Hosan.
Andrias decides to evolve Tymur, and then he decides to get back to town. Meanwhile, Charon has met up with Jester to discuss his removal from the congregation. Jester says that he was the one who removed Charon from the congregation because he doesn’t need someone unworthy.
Charon gets furious, but he still can’t speak because what Jester said is true. Jester asks Charon if he truly wants to be a part of the congregation, and Charon immediately agrees to do anything for it. Jester tells Charon that he has found the location of the ancient magical beats Kushain.
Jester says that he wants Charon to unseal and tame the magical beast and then bring Andrias to him. Charon thinks that this is a wonderful opportunity as he can get rid of Andrias while also getting a magical beast for himself. He readily agrees with Jester’s orders and takes on this duty.
The Next Day, Andrias returns to the Rodlan Academy. Andrias gets exhausted because of all the fighting and running around, so he decides to go and rest in his dorm, but he gets stopped by his Junior. Andrias learns that the Tunerico dormitory has been closed because of a spirit sighting near the area.
Andrias gets confused because this event was supposed to happen 6 months later, according to the game, but it is somehow happening now. Andrias decides to return to his dormitory to check on this situation, and Vivianne goes along with him. Vivianne tells Andrias that a professor named Charon Diphren is behind this situation.
Andrias realizes that his intervention has caused a change in the course of the game. While in the dormitory, Andrias and Vivianne find that Diene has been affected by a spirit. They quickly grab her and free her from the spirit by using the true name of the spirit’s master.
Diene eventually comes back to her senses, and then Andrias takes her out of the dormitory. Andrias also learns that Charon used Diene for his spirit research purpose. Andrias asks Diene if she knows where Charon is right now, and Diene replies he has gone somewhere to look for the “main body.”
Andrias suddenly becomes alert because he needs to stop Charon before he unseals Kushain. Meanwhile, Charon has already found Kushain’s sealed body and has begun the unsealing process.
