NBA 2K27 has generated an estimated $309.1 million in premium revenue, according to Alinea Analytics’ latest 2026 ranking. The figure places Visual Concepts’ basketball game sixth among the new premium releases tracked across Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation, putting it ahead of College Football 27 and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
The estimate also highlights the continued commercial strength of the NBA 2K franchise. While Alinea’s figure covers premium revenue across the three tracked platforms, it should be treated as an estimate rather than an official sales figure from 2K or Take-Two.
NBA 2K27 Reached $309 Million in Estimated Revenue
Alinea’s ranking puts NBA 2K27 behind EA Sports FC 27 at $714.1 million, Resident Evil Requiem at $558 million, Forza Horizon 6 at $534.3 million, Crimson Desert at $426.7 million, and 007 First Light at $320.1 million.
That makes NBA 2K27 one of the strongest-performing sports releases of 2026. Its estimated $309.1 million also puts it above College Football 27, which Alinea estimates at $264.1 million.

The game launched worldwide on September 4, 2026, following early access for Deluxe and Ultra Edition owners from August 28. It is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC through Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2.
2K positioned this year’s release around several substantial additions, including a redesigned gameplay system, the franchise’s first Co-Ed City, the new MyCAREER Eras mode, and a 100-year MyNBA universe. Visual Concepts president Greg Thomas said the game was designed to give players more ways to compete across its different modes.
The game’s pricing strategy also includes multiple premium editions. The Standard Edition launched at $69.99, while the Deluxe Edition cost $99.99 and the limited-time Ultra Edition was priced at $149.99.
With NBA 2K27 already estimated to have generated more than $300 million in premium revenue, the latest Alinea ranking shows that the basketball franchise remains a major force in the 2026 premium games market.
