After a somewhat successful assassination attempt, Yeo Un is left to bleed out and die on the ground. Just as he is losing consciousness, a mysterious boy from the future appears on the scene and kills the assassins. In the previous chapter, the darkness sect members were ambushed by enemies while they were making their way to the Divine Physician’s shelter. The members of the darkness sect were wiped out in the blink of an eye, and the elder Yang and the Lord barely managed to escape, thanks to Yeon Un’s help. In the battle between the old man and Yeon Un, an explosion occurred, which threw Yeon Un into the belly of a deep and inescapable cave.

The injured Lord and Elder Yang were ultimately saved by the leader of the Wudang Sect, also known as Wudang Sword, the Wise One. The leader is one of the five masters who are said to be the strongest men in their factions. The leader escorted the party to Divine Physician’s shelter, but the atmosphere was stifling in there. With the Divine Physician refusing their request, things were obviously suspicious that the Wudang Sect leader wants something.
