The narrative, as stated above, is twisted because of a lot of reasons, one of them being the resemblance of this series with the HBO max famous teen show Euphoria, where Maddy’s best friend cassie gets sexually engaged with Maddy’s ex behind her back and play the victim.
Yes, it isn’t necessarily the same, but it is not quite different too. This manga series is Nate’s perspective story. Where the guy has a very beautiful girlfriend and is the first one in his life to be with; however, the friend of the girlfriend is more hot and sexy.
He is tempted and intimidated by her. As much as he loves his girlfriend, he is undoubtedly attracted to or drawn to her. Now the narrative follows his story, mainly focusing on this whether he will stay with his girlfriend or he will do what Nate did.

She tells him that if he didn’t come, she would have waited till midnight. She brushes his face softly and thanks him for coming.
She starts to french kiss him with all her tongue and stuff and comments that he tastes like curry. He asks her how long this relationship is going to go on, as Kaori already knows about it. She says that she couldn’t care less about anything if it meant being with him.
She says not to waste time thinking about something so superfluous and use it for something nice together. The shocking part is that with something, she meant a blowjob!!!
