He’s baffled because he expected more powerful skills, but all he gets are Martial Devotion and Flashing Sky Thunder Steps, which he already had. As if that’s not enough, the Top 100 promotion round is just around the corner. Seong Jihan is stressed out since he lost the Wanderer’s Eye, a handy ability, and didn’t fully inherit the Nameless Divine Arts. He’s worried about how he’ll perform in the upcoming competition.
Seong Jihan talks with his friend, who tries to cheer him up. She’s certain that he’ll discover a way to win since he’s great at figuring things out. She even jokes almost betting on him getting first place. But Seong Jihan is not in the mood for jokes. He’s more concerned about his uncertain future and the challenges he’s facing.
Suddenly, something odd happens. Seong Jihan feels an unusual sensation in his left eye like something is off. He decides to get rid of anything that is bothering him. Turns out, it’s the “Meandering Martial God,” a powerful being that was sort of controlling Seong Jihan. But presently, the Military God is gone, and Seong Jihan is free. The system tells him that he can get sponsorship from another effective being, the Shadow Queen.
Seong Jihan is a bit confused but realizes that the Martial God is more of a burden than a help. The god disappears, and Seong Jihan decides to look for another sponsor, specifically the Shadow Queen said in an epic quest. This journey challenges him to find her in the audience and incite her for a reward of 50,000 achievement focuses.
The story takes an interesting turn as Seong Jihan enters the Bronze Top 100 promotion circular. People are excited about him, and fans are cheering him on. He’s decided to face all his opponents at once and make it quick. The chapter ends with a mix of anticipation, mystery, and the promise of exciting battles ahead.
In simpler terms, Se-Ah drops out of school since she thinks she can learn better from Seong Jihan. Seong Jihan, however, is upset since he didn’t get the awesome powers he expected. But then, the Wandering Martial God, who was sort of controlling Seong Jihan, disappears. Now, Seong Jihan is free and can get back from someone else, like the Shadow Queen. He takes on a quest to find her and gets a chance to prove himself in the promotion round. The chapter ends with a lot of excitement and the promise of more action in the next part of the story.
