The Mandalorian and his son Grogu arrive as Peli Motto is conjuring a Rodian with just a few Jawas as Tatooine begins to celebrate Boonta Eve. As he is known today, the IG-11 droid’s storage circuit is what Din Djarin seeks, but Peli claims that not even Jawas have it.
It’s been a while since I’ve done this, but I’ve been meaning to for a while. The R5 refuses to leave the cozy hangar because he fears the trek, but Peli gives him over and gets him installed in the spacecraft. The green kid’s pupils sparkle as the show starts to erupt in the Tatooine skies as Mando’s Fighter squadron takes off along with Grogu safely in his father’s lap.

A quick recap
Mando instructs Grogu on the principles of Manda’lore when they are in space, such as the necessity of being able to chart one’s way while floating and the fact that Concordia, a moon in the Mandalorian region, was Mando’s home. As soon as the Starfighter touches the planet, its devastation is obvious.
Mando explains to his son that they won’t be able to communicate with anybody while they are on the planet since the magnetic flux around it was wrecked after the fusing bombs fell on Mandalore, even during the Purge.
The R5 is compelled to comply with orders and reluctantly enters the cave when Mando orders the robot to take samples of the mine’s air to determine whether it is breathable. Mando and Grogu are tracking the droid’s journey on the radar whenever it abruptly vanishes from view, and noticing his boy’s alarm, Mando resolves to look into the problem.
When the Mandalorian reaches the tunnel, he is confronted by a huge cavern, home to Sundari City’s government. He is suddenly ambushed by gigantic, four-eyed humanoids that resemble Neanderthals if they were extraterrestrials. Mando tries to defeat the creatures, and after one of their weapons knocks his blaster out of his hands, he pulls out the Darksaber.
He may use the greatest weapon to effectively silence the enemies before assisting the R5 to exit the cave by cutting them down to size. Upon outside, Mando discovers from the robot that the mines’ air is very much breathing and that the legends surrounding Mandalore’s curses are untrue.
Grogu is somewhat frightened as they arrive at the lizard-like creatures that gaze at them from the gaps with green eyes as he descends the cavern. When Mando discovers an antique helmet that mimics the one worn by Pre Vizsla, a customized crab droid confines him within, and a mechanical monster with a monocular emerges.
A bio-mechanical gruesomeness with a robot arm and a human brain emerges from the robot. When the creature gets sidetracked and turns off the machine, Grogu stands back and approaches his father. Mando is confined within, but when he tells Grogu to grab Bo-Katan, the beast becomes aware and starts hunting him.
Before entering the Starfighter and requesting that R5 transport him to Bo-planet, Katan’s Grogu sprints out of the area on his floating stroller, escaping an attack from a reptile from earlier that spreads its wings and tries to attack him.
She is prepared to lecture Din Djarin as the Starfighter flies over Bo-palace, but she is shocked when a worried Grogu peeks out. She takes Grogu along as she takes off towards Mandalore after downloading information from the R5 robot to determine where Mando has headed.
After arriving, bo-Katan remembers the planet’s grandeur and how her family was its ruler as she stands in front of the Civic Center. Bo-Katan explains to Grogu how well the Mandalorians and Jedi formerly worked together as they made their way to where Grogu’s father was abducted. Other humanoid beings crash and attempt to assault the queen Mandalorian as she shoots the floor.
Still, she dispatches them quickly with the help of her extensive arsenal of weapons and abilities. Who knows what else may still be residing in the caves? She tells Grogu that the animals were known as Alamites and that they resided outside of civilization if they could escape the bombing.
