The Drama between Abby, Trent, and Zac came to an end when Zac and Trent apologized to Abby for what they did. Now, in all of this, Nate has been disappointed with the women. He perceives it as the woman not having Abby’s back and he’s more disappointed in Tia because that’s his partner.
Personally, I’m not surprised that Tia is the type of person who doesn’t want to get involved. Because Kirra has been here since day one and based on what we have seen as the viewing public, it seemed like she didn’t intervene with that situation at all. So why would she intervene with a girl that she just met in less than 24 hours?
Now do I think that it was right for Nate to put the onus on the women to jump to Abby’s defense? No, I don’t think that that is their responsibility. However, I do think that it would be nice to be partnered with somebody who does think that it is important to support people, even if you don’t know them. If you feel like an injustice is being done, step in and speak on their behalf. Or reprimand the people who are doing the injustice.
I think that is something that you would want your partner to do. But is it their responsibility? No. So that’s where I see Tia. Tia’s like, “Listen, it was not my thing to get involved in”. And she’s right, it’s not her thing to get involved in. I think that Nate is also right, because even if it’s not your thing to get involved in, if you see somebody down just help them up.
So yeah, I’m seeing both sides and this is obviously a fundamental characteristic thing between them that they’re going to have to hash out. Later on in the episode they do that.
Love Island Australia Season 5 Previous Episode Recap
Before diving into Love Island Australia Season 5 Episode 10, let’s quickly recap and review the previous episode. One thing about Zac that annoys me is the fact that it takes another man, and it has to be a man that he respects, to come to him and tell him that he’s out of line for him to now see the error of his ways. Because people were coming to him and saying, “Yo, that’s not right”.
Nate did it, some of the girls at the top were like, “Yo, why is he talking to her like that?” He didn’t feel any way, but it’s only when Reid confronted Trent and Zach, that they were both, like, “ohh, you know what, what we did was wrong”.
After the dust has settled, Reid decides to check in on Abby to see if she’s doing all right. Abby believes that Reid is a caring and compassionate guy because he is stepping in to see if she’s all good and stuff like that. Now, personally, I am of the belief that Reid is one of those guys who only cares for people he’s attracted to and or respects.
If it was something happens to Zac or Trent, I can see him being more inclined to care for or be compassionate towards them over other people like maybe Nate. Same with this situation with Keirra and Abby, he has a lot more care for Abby whom he just met than he did for Kirra whom he’s known for a while.
I’m happy for Abby that he is stepping up in a way that she appreciates, but if he wasn’t attracted to you romantically, would he have still been this person? I don’t know. A lot more happened in previous episodes, but now let’s discuss when Episode 10 of Love Island Australia Season 5 will be released and what will happen in it.
