As the diversity, inclusion, and equality quota becomes pervasive across the grill of all networks catering to viewers and consumers, Paramount+ is adding to its offer of content a new dating show dedicated to Gen Z and their exploration of sexuality. In “Love Allways,” developed by AwesomenessTV, a couple of matchmakers will take Lexi Paloma, the show’s center star, on a journey of matchmaking in a big house. Here’s the deal, since Lexi is pan-sexual, meaning that she’ll date both men and women, Lexi must navigate her desires, romances, expectations, and challenges between a select group of men and women.
There are a few twists to this show that would make it different from your average Bachelor/Bachelorette dating show, and that’s the aspiring ones wishing to captivate Lexi will also be able to romance each other, adding a new level of complexity to the interactions we’d expect from a dating show that puts the aspirants and match in a lavish house and records what’s going on.
Love Allways Preview
Lexi Paloma is a pansexual girl fed up with her dating life, so she will talk to two matchmakers to put her dating life into someone else’s hands. The matchmakers will put Lexi on dates in search of Love with seven boys and seven girls in a huge house to mingle, date each other —including Lexi— and see who comes up with a match. Expect lots of intense dialogue, confessionals, and massive drama, as this is a Gen Z-oriented show, and that demographic really likes to overshare their feelings and emotions and has a knack for having a no-holds-barred approach when it comes to things like sexuality, mental health, wellness and expressions of romance.
As the first Gen Z pan-sexual dating show, we can expect a lot from this program as it explores the concept of Love in a modern age with an audience that’s looking for something fresh and different. We can be sure that Lexi will experience a rollercoaster of emotions — from heartache to joy and everything in between — as she attempts to find her match amongst the group of people living under one roof. Lexi’s journey will undoubtedly be filled with awkwardness, heightened emotions, loads of laughter, and plenty of surprises in ten episodes that will surely captivate your attention!
