Hosted by Jaime Camil, the show’s entire feel and looks transport you to a stage that seems like a mixture of a traditional Mexican rural town with cobblestones and brick-and-mortar walls as well as a huge, American game show screen.
The show is also coupled with a brass, cymbals, percussion, and marimba band that gives it even more Latin American vibes. This is an attempt from CBS to captivate the Latin American audience and bring them closer to game shows with twists and appeals to their culture, a trait that not only CBS but many rival networks are trying to develop as the Latin American demographic is one of the largest in the United States and their tastes and demands in regards for entertainment, all in the context of group identity and diversity quotas fill up today’s screens.
