The Cheonliang saga continues as we learn more about Vin Jin’s past and the kind of suffering he had to go through. The five heads of the gangs have gathered to mourn the passing of Gun in the recent battle. But during that time, we are learning what kind of trials Cheongling went through in the pages of Lookism Chapter 484.
The flashback of Vin Jin came out of nowhere, but it is just a way to show that the character bears importance in the coming chapters. Not just him but the entire Cheonglian family is discovered through the flashback. Moreover, we are getting to learn what the world of Lookism was like in a different part place at different times.
Just like how Daniel Park was treated poorly for his looks at the beginning of the series, so is Vin Jin. The core of the school life manhwa making a return was a nice touch, and with alterations, it makes for a good plot. And while all this is taking place, we aren’t being shown much about the present so far.

Lookism Chapter 484 will tell us more about the history of Cheonliang and its relation to the Shaman. Vin Jin is trying to run away from the clutches of the shaman, but the Yamazaki clan’s Komiga Shigeaki is out to get him. Not showing mercy to the minors who stood in his way to stop him.
It was Yamazaki’s henchmen who dealt with the other four members of the Cheongliang who were protecting Vin Jin. Vin Jin had thought of them due to their impression of them being weak when they went on a rampage. However, the four had been holding back at that time and were just testing out the new member of their small community.
The four even stood against Taejin Cheon, who beat the relic of Shaman into the ground without breaking any sweat. However, the four were no match against the guards, and even Miru Kim was easily beaten by the guards.
It was then that Seongji Yuk decided to chime in and take care of the trouble brewing. He reminded Yamazaki clan members to say away or else. The action series will show what makes the old beggar so fearsome and what led to him becoming one of the five kings.
Lookism Chapter 483 Recap
Lookism Chapter 483 starts with Seongji Yuk asking Vin Jin if he wants to die by his hands while the young boy looks in surprise. Vin Jin didn’t know what to do at the sight, so when he was offered Tanghulu (sugar-coated fruit on a stick), he started gobbling them. And then, not so long after, the chaos ensues.
Seongji tells the young kid to leave once he is done, as he doesn’t have tolerance for kids like him. The other kids started talking to Vin Jin, only for him to snap at one of them. They then realized his identity and started attacking them in retaliation for his violent nature.
Vin Jin claimed that he had come to die but found nothing that could kill him, but he saw a monster soon after. However, that monster turned out to be a girl named Miru Kim, who threw him onto the ground and minded his manners.
Vin Jin realized that she was the strongest person he had met in all his life before losing consciousness. In the next scene, we see him return to school and be the center of attention for the recent scandal that took place.
