Fans are excitedly anticipating the return of the God of Mischief, Loki, for a new season on Disney+. After the amazing cliffhanger in the episode, everyone is curious to learn what happens to Loki and his new friends.
Not to be forgotten is Loki’s catchphrase, “I have a plan,” which inspired a well-known Marvel meme. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Loki, one of the most nuanced and adored characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, for his second season.
However, this program reveals another, more compassionate side to Loki. After the first, when they go to the Citadel, Loki fights with Sylvie over his ownership of the Time Variance Authority. Now, alongside his team, Loki embarks on a diva journey to find certain humans.
Among them are Judge Renslayer, Sylvie, and Miss Minutes. But in a cosmos this insane and lethal, the work is hard. However, we believe he’ll be able to manage them with Mobius and others.
Recap
Following the conclusion of season 2, episode 4, fans of Loki have high expectations for both the show and the MCU overall. Before the TVA was overloaded, Tom Hiddleston, the self-styled God of Mischief, and his allies had a plan to fix the temporary loom. But as things stand, a significant story turn has made things considerably more challenging.
Since Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), the real TVA founder and creator of the Sacred Timeline, killed He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors) in the Loki season 1 finale, the world has been expanding quickly. This has been illustrated in previous Loki season 2 episodes.
Characters such as Loki, Sylvie, Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson), Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku), and others are searching for Victor Timely, a He Who Remains variation, who can help them stabilize the Temporal Loom of the TVA, as a result of the influx of new branching timelines endangering the TVA itself. However, following the shocking climax of the fourth episode of Loki season 2, everything has gone wrong.
One of the most intriguing things about Loki season 2 was the possibility that Jonathan Majors’ character Victor Timely may grow into a formidable force as one of Kang’s versions. However, Marvel had other plans for his character, like killing him. Victor Timely was revealed to be a nineteenth-century con man when he made an appearance in Loki S2E2.
As they try to protect him from Sylvie and use his help to unlock TVA’s blast doors to enter the temporal loom, Renslayer, Miss Minutes, Mobius, and Loki all get to him. Though we did think that Victor Timely would eventually become “He Who Remains,” he turned out to be a decent man who helped Ouroboros solve problems.
At the end of Loki Season 2 Episode 4, Victor shows some unexpected bravery and takes over the task of fixing the temporal loom by entering through the blast doors, exactly like Mobius did in the first episode. Loki offers to go to the loom to implant the device. However, as soon as Victor walks through the blast doors and exposes himself to the temporal radiation, he is immediately, well, spaghettified.
The most important question to ask is: Is Victor Timely dead? I think there are two answers to this question. Based solely on inferential evidence, Victor Timely seems to have lost his life to follow a higher calling. But when we take a broader view, we can observe specific events taking place.
In order to bolster the theory that the entire TVA is trapped in a temporal loop, it is first presented to us that Loki was the one who killed him in the first episode. It’s possible that the entire story is restarted because the time loom ruptured shortly after Victor died, which raises the possibility that Victor might not actually die for a very long time.
