It has indeed been confirmed that the charming Kim Hye Yoon will be the star of the upcoming drama, ‘Us at 29’. An alternative name would be ‘The Year We Turned 29’. K-Dramas based on webtoons are quite common in the industry. To name a few, we have True Beauty, Business Proposal, Sweet Home, and Love alarm. Kim Hye Yoon’s upcoming drama, Us at 29, is also based on a webtoon with a similar name. Agents from Kim Hye Yoon’s label IHQ reported recently that the production team of Us at 29 reached out to her with an offer.
Kim Hye Yoon is a well-known name across South Korea. She has been a part of major productions such as Sky Castle, Extraordinary You, True Beauty, and Snowdrop. There is no doubt about her acting skills, and Kim Hye Yoon is sure to slay in her upcoming project ‘Us at 29’. However, her journey as an actress started way back in 2012. At that time, she often played supporting roles. It is no doubt that she upskilled herself through these small roles. In 2019, she finally landed her biggest role as the protagonist in MBC’s drama Extraordinary You.
