The final episode of Invincible Season 3 has arrived, bringing an intense and action-packed conclusion to another thrilling chapter of the Prime Video series. Since Mark Grayson (voiced by Steven Yeun) first discovered his superpowers, he has faced many powerful enemies and overcome major challenges.
He started as a young hero who struggled to fly, but he has grown into Earth’s most powerful defender. Mark has fought dangerous villains, including his own father, Omni-Man (voiced by J.K. Simmons), and has faced enemies from different dimensions.
This season continues to show that being a hero comes with serious consequences. Every action, no matter how well-intended, creates an impact, sometimes with unexpected results. Even when one battle ends, another threat is always just around the corner. The last two episodes of the season deliver intense fights that push Mark further than ever before.

Mark Faces His Toughest Opponent in “Invincible” Season 3
At the end of Season 2, the villain Angstrom Levy (voiced by Sterling K. Brown) appeared to be defeated. However, it turns out that he survived and has returned stronger than ever. This time, he is not alone—he has an army of alternate versions of Mark from different dimensions. These evil versions of Mark create destruction on a massive scale.
The battle, known as the Invincible War, lasts for three days and brings chaos, destruction, and loss. Cities are reduced to ruins, and countless lives are lost. One of the biggest casualties is Rex Splode (voiced by Jason Mantzoukas), who sacrifices himself to defeat one of the evil Marks. His bravery helps slow down the enemy, but the cost is high.
Meanwhile, Atom Eve (voiced by Gillian Jacobs) fights against two evil Marks but is severely injured and falls into a coma. Mark, devastated by her condition, leaves the battlefield to be by her side.
Other heroes continue to fight, including Immortal (voiced by Ross Marquand), who comes back to life after being decapitated once again. However, after witnessing so much destruction, Immortal decides to retire. He chooses to step away from the battlefield and start a new life with Dupli-Kate (voiced by Melise).

Darkwing II (voiced by Cleveland Berto) also plays a key role in the battle. Using his abilities, he traps one of the evil Marks in the Shadow-Verse, a place from which he may never return.
Meanwhile, the remaining evil Marks betray Angstrom, but he quickly takes control of the situation. He traps them in a post-apocalyptic wasteland in another dimension, making sure they cannot turn against him.
When Mark returns to the fight, he realizes that Angstrom must be stopped permanently. He attacks with full force, determined to prevent Angstrom from causing any more destruction.
However, just as Mark is about to finish him off, Angstrom manages to escape. He disappears through a portal, but not before Mark damages the portal, causing Angstrom to lose part of his arm in the process.
A New Threat Arrives: Mark vs. Conquest
With the battle over, Cecil (voiced by Walton Goggins) gathers the remaining heroes. He asks Mark to lead the Guardians of the Globe, believing he is the best choice to protect Earth from future dangers.
Mark refuses the offer, feeling that he is not ready for such a responsibility. Instead, he focuses on helping rebuild the city after the destruction caused by the Invincible War.
However, Mark does not get much time to rest. While clearing the wreckage in New York City, he comes face-to-face with a new and terrifying enemy—Conquest (voiced by Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
Conquest is a powerful Viltrumite sent to ensure Mark prepares Earth for a Viltrumite takeover. Mark was already warned by Anissa (voiced by Shantel VanSanten) in Season 2, and now it seems the Viltrumite empire has lost patience.
Mark is not just worried about Conquest’s strength. What makes this fight even more dangerous is that Mark wants the battle. He is frustrated and angry, blaming himself for the destruction and the people he failed to protect. All of his emotions build up, and he sees this fight as a way to release his guilt.
The battle is brutal. Conquest is far more powerful than Mark and treats the fight as entertainment, toying with him rather than finishing him off immediately. The damage from this battle only adds to the destruction that already took place during the Invincible War.
Oliver (voiced by Christian Convery), Mark’s younger half-brother, joins the fight to help. However, he is inexperienced and is nearly torn apart by Conquest. Eve, who is still recovering from her coma, wakes up and sees the battle unfolding on the news. Ignoring her injuries, she rushes to join the fight.
Even though Eve displays new abilities, including the power to control the atmosphere’s density to slow down Conquest, she is still no match for him. Conquest severely injures her, leaving her barely alive. Seeing Eve in such a critical state finally pushes Mark over the edge. He stops holding back and uses every ounce of his strength against Conquest.
During the chaos, Eve discovers another hidden ability—the power to control organic matter. She heals herself completely and releases a massive pink energy blast. The blast melts most of Conquest’s skin, but he still refuses to fall. Furious and unwilling to let Eve die, Mark unleashes his rage. He brutally headbutts Conquest again and again until there is nothing left of his enemy’s head.
What’s Next for “Invincible”?
After the battle, the heroes take time to grieve their fallen friend, Rex Splode. Robot (voiced by Ross Marquand) decides to honor Rex by changing his name from Rudy to Rex. The loss weighs heavily on Mark, making him appreciate the people who are still alive, especially Eve.
Eve tells Mark that her new abilities were always there, but mental barriers had been preventing her from reaching her full potential. Now, with those barriers gone, she has become even more powerful.
However, when she uses her powers to remove Mark’s suit, something strange happens—the suit begins to melt when it touches the floor. This suggests that her abilities are evolving in ways she does not fully understand yet.
Meanwhile, danger is still lurking in the shadows. The Sequids, terrifying alien parasites that take over their hosts, have started building an army beneath Earth’s sewers. They are waiting for the perfect moment to strike, which could mean another large-scale battle in the future.
Elsewhere, Battle Beast survives his brutal fight with a Viltrumite. An unknown alien species rescues him, and as he regains consciousness, he prepares himself for his next battle. Meanwhile, Angstrom Levy is still alive and has had his arm repaired by a group of mysterious Technicians. They seem to have their sinister plans, making it clear that Mark has not seen the last of him.
Cecil, despite Mark’s wishes, decides to keep Conquest’s body preserved instead of destroying it. He believes they can learn valuable information from Conquest about how to defeat the Viltrumite empire. In addition, Cecil is developing a new version of the ReAnimen, a powerful creatures that might be able to fight against Viltrumite-level threats—including Mark himself.

Mark, after everything he has been through, makes a new vow. If anyone threatens the people he loves, he will not hesitate to eliminate them.
In a final surprise, a mid-credits scene reveals the return of Damien Darkblood (voiced by Clancy Brown). He is seen performing a ritual, attempting to bring a powerful being from Hell back to the surface world. What this means for the future remains unknown, but Mark and his allies will continue to face massive threats.
With Invincible Season 4 already in production, fans can expect even more action, intense battles, and shocking twists. Mark Grayson’s journey as a hero is far from over, and with so many enemies still at large, his toughest battles may still be ahead.
The Invincible Season 3 finale delivers intense battles, shocking losses, and new threats for Mark Grayson. Angstrom Levy returns with an army of evil Marks, leading to the devastating Invincible War, which destroys cities and claims countless lives, including Rex Splode.
