Swordmaster’s Youngest Son Chapter 73: Recap
The chapter starts with Dante, Veradin, and Jin discussing the guy impersonating Veradin. Dante is amazed at how someone could be so bold as to imitate Veradin in the land of Ziple. Jin asks Veradin what was he planning on doing about the impersonator. Veradin tells him he was considering having the special-grade mages investigate it. Jin thinks for a moment and argues that it might not be the best idea, and if it were him, he would have used the opportunity to show them in a good light in front of the media. Jin expands that if Veradin announced that the Ziple’s would be searching for the impersonator, then they would be ridiculed for falling for such cheap tricks. After talking a bit more, Jin gets up to leave, and the trio, who started as enemies, parted ways as friends.

The scene shift to a room with Jin and Cassimir sitting on two opposite sofas; after making some small talk, Jin proceeds to the main purpose of his visit— the map. Jin shows him the map and asks if he knows what it is. However, Casimir was as confused as him; he had never seen any other maps like that. But suddenly, Yuria pops out and excitedly looks at it with her magical eyes to try and locate what she believed to be “treasure.”
But Yuria suddenly broke down crying, and her authority started going out of control. Luckily her Dragon guardian, Latrie, could calm her down, and she fell asleep. Murrakhan questioned Latrie about what did Yuria see. She said it was the past, an ancient land whose native people had closed themselves to outside civilization, only believing in the god they worshipped. Thanks to that, they could live in peace, but that was until mages came under the pretext of wanting the learn their culture. As time passed, they began exploiting the natives and turning the soil over, looking for the “godly object” they worshipped.
Connecting all the dots in his head, Jin realized that the mages were the Ziple’s, the ancient land was the Colon, and the “godly object” was the magic fountain “mirror.” But still, the point was, where was this “mirror”? And the chapter ends with a colon’s native shedding a tear of gratefulness before leaving to prepare for the Guest(Jin).
