Are you excited for In the Dark Season 4 Episode 2? Because Murphy Mason has returned, and she is in bad shape. The drama continues to take dark twists, and Season 4 Episode 1 of In The Dark was no exception. In fact, with this being the last chapter, one has to worry if the series will end with anything other than a tragic conclusion. Particularly in the prison section of the chapter, there was some amazing work with creating tones & moods visually. The blue tints highlighted Murphy’s loneliness and terror while also capturing the chill of the environment.
Savannah’s blood pouring toward the Bible and Holy plates was very frightening, especially because she was Murphy’s final ray of hope. Savannah’s death was a punch to the gut and memorable in a matter of seconds, thanks to the direction and shots used in that scenario. When we followed Murphy’s trip through the prison, the hour was at its peak. Sadly, scenes with the supporting cast simply served to highlight the annoying qualities of Season 3 of In the Dark.

In the Dark Season 4 Episode 1 Recap
Before diving into In the Dark Season 4 Episode 2, let’s quickly do a recap of the previous episode. Episode 1 starts with Murphy and Savannah getting ready for their dinner date. As they approached the elevator Savannah was mysteriously killed, and Murphy was devastated. Murphy was then put into prison because according to the law she was the killer, but she wasn’t. On Murphy’s first day at the prison, we could see that she wasn’t made for prison. And this prison was no different than the usual TV show prison, you have useless guards that can be bribed and that one prisoner who is usually The Boss of all the inmates. Here the Boss was Sam, she just wanted to make Murphy’s life a living hell.
Murphy’s friends outside weren’t able to help her. The only person who was like a ray of light in the dark was Felix. He really cares for her and would do anything to help her. Felix wanted to be Murphy’s attorney even though wasn’t a genius at law, he wanted to free her from the prison. He tried everything to get the needed money for Murphy’s bail but wasn’t able to come to her bail appearance. But it wasn’t Felix’s fault, at least he wanted to fight for her. Then there was Max, he was present at Murphy’s hearing but was mostly useless. He was telling her that he cared for her and he was trying to do everything he could to get her out of the prison, but it all felt fake by the looks on his face.
There was no one to defend Murphy as her attorney, so she had to take Leslie’s public defender class friend. He was one another useless guy in the episode. First of all, he arrived late to Murphy’s hearing, then he didn’t even sit through the entire hearing, just left when he was bored. Didn’t even defend Murphy’s side properly. This all resulted in 2 million bail for freeing Murphy. The sad part was Murphy was all alone in this courtroom, had no real friends, and was also stuck with a douche lawyer. Murphy had to go back to prison with no hope. Now we will discuss when will Episode 2 of In the Dark Season 4 will release and what will happen in it.
In the Dark Season 4 Episode 2 Release Date & Preview
In the Dark Season 4 Episode 2 will release on 13 June 2022 on CW. This week’s episode, titled “No Cane Do,” will do a lot of what the show does best: put Murphy in a nearly impossible scenario and then see if she can find a way out. From beginning to end, we expect this to be a character-driven story. We have a good feeling she’ll make it out of this, largely because The CW would be insane to kill off their lead character two episodes in. What follows is the question of what will happen as a result and how this drama will continue throughout the summer.
