The Mandalorian Season 2: Recap And Season 3 Cast
Let’s quickly go through the story of the Mandalorian season 2 for those who forgot or missed it without spoiling much, and then I will show you the cast of the brand-new season and how you can watch it.
The Mandalorian has been tasked with returning his charge, a child, to its people, the Jedi. He begins searching for another Mandalorian who he believes can help him find the Jedi, and is directed to a rumored Mandalorian operating out of the Tatooine town, Mos Pelgo. The Mandalorian takes Grogu (the Jedi child) to the ancient temple on Tython and places him on the seeing stone at its center. Grogu then immediately starts to meditate to call for his people and is quickly surrounded by a protective energy field in the show.
After some things happen and now the Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) agrees to return the armor of Cobb Vanth to Boba Fett in exchange for the safety of Grogu. Later Grogu gets kidnaped by Gideon’s troopers. He fights Gideon with the spear and overpowers the Moff, making him the new rightful owner of the Dark saber. The Mandalorian gives Grogu permission to go with Skywalker and R2-D2 to complete his training as a Jedi. Later, Fett and Fennec travel to Jabba’s Palace on Tatooine, where Fett kills Bib Fortuna and claims the throne for himself. With that, season 2 ends, leaving the audience with many questions and anticipation for season 3.
The cast for season 3 is Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin or The Mandalorian, and the show revolves around him for the most part. Then Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Chris Bartlett as Droid Bounty Hunter, and Gina Carano as Cara Dune.
