The one-hour drama series SKYMED is a high-stakes medical adventure series. In the far-flung North, where assistance and survival are essentially thousands of kilometers away, the show presents engrossing tales about a diverse collection of young emergency responders.
Each of them will be tested to overcome their fears and evolve during the season by the challenges, victories, hookups, and heartbreaks of a hazardous job in an unforgiving setting. It gives the show a distinctive plot in which they search for amazing solutions to offer aid and assistance to those in acute need.
In a nutshell, the series centers on a nurse, her sister, and her pilot brother-in-law, who both served as air ambulances abroad. The plot will, therefore, receive a lot of attention in the upcoming season, and many fresh concepts will be explored.
The cast for the series includes Natasha Calis as Nurse Hayley Roberts, Praneet Akilla as Jay Chopper, Thomas Elms as Captain Milosz Nowak, Morgan Holmstrom in the role of Crystal Highway, Aason Nadjiwan in the role of Captain Austen Bodie, Rebecca Kwan as Emma Lin, Mercedes Morris as Lexi Martine, Jeremy Wood’s character has been played by Braeden Clarke, and Patrick Kwok-Choon as Dr. Trevor Sung.
Other cast members include Emilia McCarthy as Madison Van Camp, Kheon Clarke as Tristan Green, Ryan DeLong as Steve, Matthew Kevin Anderson in the role of Brad, Jeff Teravainen as Pierce, Sharon Bajer as Denise, Gino Anania in the role of Devon, Aaron Ashmore as Captain William “Wheezer” Heaseman, Darla’s role has been played by Laura Olafson, Karl Thordarson as Frank and Ryan Ali as Reese.
SkyMed is produced by Piazza Entertainment. Along with Vanessa Piazza, Ron Murphy, and Gillian Hormel, Puckin serves as executive producer. The pilot’s director is Steve Adelson.
Kyle Irving and Lisa Meeches, both from Manitoba, work as executive producers for Eagle Vision. Co-executive producers are Nikolijne Troubetzkoy and Jennica Harper. The series will be made available outside of Canada by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group.
