What To Expect?
Well, who exactly is Kora, and what was her life like before she became a warrior for Motherworld after witnessing the slaughter of her family through the hand of imperial forces, leading to her life changing drastically?
Kora is a young woman who has a mysterious past, portrayed by Sofia Butella, who serves as the protagonist of the upcoming space series titled “Rebel Moon,” where she came to be known as Scargiver due to her rebellion against Imperium, leaving it after a while to take refuge on Veldt.
Kora uses a Guardian gun, a plasma pistol, as her weapon while being a skilled farmer working with Gunnar, a friend she made after leaving Motherfield and settling in Veldt. The warrior has a skill in pilotry that helps her in flying her spaceship.
The upcoming movie will center around the reluctant hero “Kora’s” journey as the former soldier from Motherworld and the life she had before she was forced to become a part of the Motherfield troop.
Well, Kora’s journey started when she was forced to watch the slaughter of her family and destruction of her home world at the hands of imperial forces as a young child, which led to Kora being picked by the ruthless warlord Regent Balisarius to become his surrogate daughter.
Regent Balisarius raised the young Kora as he wanted to mold the child into the Motherworld’s most intimidating warrior, but things took a turn when Kora’s spaceship crashed on Veldt, where she realized that she no longer had any interest in killing in the name of Motherfield thus deciding to stay on Veldt.
Once Kora is on Veldt, she decides to take control of her life and enjoy a harmonious life on Veldt as she no longer wants any association with the life of a soldier, but things take a turn once again when Admiral Noble, the sadistic emissary who is trying to seek control on the moon arrive.
Kora, with Gunnar, her friend, set out to plan a war by trying to recruit a band of misfits and rebels to their cause against Admiral Nobel due to the lives of the people living on Veldt that were hanging.
The film will discover Kora and her band of misfits trying to take control over Admiral Nobel and knock down the almighty Motherworld, but the question that remains is whether they will be successful or fail in their attempt.
