The series stars Bill Hader in the part of Barry Berkmen, the protagonist of the show, Stephen Roots in the part of Monore Fuches, an old family friend who groomed Barry for a career as a hitman, Sarah Goldberg in the character of Sally Ree, a struggling actress, Glenn Fleshler in the character of Goran Pazar, the leader who hired Barry, Anthony Carrigan in the character of NoHo Hank, right-man of Goran, Henry Winkler in the part of Gene Cousineau, an acting coach, and Barry’s mentor, and Sarah Burns in the part of Detective Mae, a naive investigator, as the core cast.

Barry Season 3 Recap
The previous season witnessed a depressed Barry returning to contract killing while continuing to auditions to fulfill his dreams of becoming an actor. The first client Barry got paid to kill, had a change of heart, and forgave his wife for sleeping with another man. Barry ends up killing both of them. At the same time, his relationship with Sally is suffering. Moss saves Barry by distracting the police during the investigation by identifying Fuches as the killer.
Gene refuses to believe Barry is innocent and threatens him at gunpoint to accept his involvement in Moss’s murder. Gene’s plan fails, and Barry takes him hostage to execute him. Gene convinces Barry to give him a chance to earn forgiveness. Barry tries to convince Sally to give a role to Gene in her autobiographical series.
Sally refuses to do so, and Barry reacts violently to her refusal. Barry continues to find work for Gene, and he lands an audition for himself. Hank is left heartbroken as Cristobal breaks up with him to keep him safe from her father.
Barry refuses to help Natalie and barely survives an attack by the surviving member of the motocross gang. Barry kills the biker who attacked him, and as he is disposing of the biker’s body, he is confronted by Albert, who warns him to stop killing. The third season of the series ended with Barry’s arrest by the police.
The fourth season will pick up from the ending of Season 3, where Barry ends up getting arrested by the police as they are lured into the trap by Gene and Moss. The series will witness Barry in jail seeking forgiveness from the ones who he has wronged, including Gene and Sally Reed. By the end of the third season, Barry realized he wouldn’t be able to get past his killing history.
It will also follow Sally, the ex-girlfriend, Barry. It is expected that Hank will break Barry out of prison by the end of season 4. There is also a chance Barry’s friends forgiving him and Barry will become an actor.
