What is Avada Kedavra?
So, the Harry Potter series has a ton of spells, and many spells do different things. Out of all these spells, Avada Kedavra is one of those spells. It is said that this spell has the ability to kill a person without doing any physical damage or injury of any sort. This spell was used against Harry Potter himself, and he had to use a counterspell to protect himself. The spell he had used was Sacrificial Protection to protect himself.
How to learn the spell Avada Kedavra?
So in this, if you want to unlock the spell Avada Kedavra also known as the killing curse, then you have to search for a quest called the Sebastian Sallow’s relationship. To do this quest, you must be a minimum of level 28. The specific quest that you actually do need to do is complete the Shadow of the Relic quest. But to get to this quest, you need to complete a few things, like a chapter in the main story called The Lodgok’s Loyalty and all quests, including a quest called Shadow Of Hope.
The Shadow of the Relic is basically one of the Sallow quests. You need to make sure to keep your tabs on Slytherin pupils; it is one of the easiest ways to win over Slytherin house. In this questline, you will be asked to fight with a few enemies that are present in the cave, and soon you will have to fight its boss too. After all of this is done, you have to go talk to Sebastian.
When talking to Sebastian, you will be given the options on what to say. You have to pick only these two dialogues “Everyone should know that curse” and “Yes, please”. You can either learn here how to do the spell, or you can learn from another quest called Sallow Relationship.
In this, you must go to Ominis Gaunt and say that “We must not turn Sebastian in”, after doing this, speaks to Sebastian when he is located in the Undercroft, and he is going to teach you many spells, including the Avada Kedavra.
Doing the latter is a better option as you will get to learn all the curses that you had not learned until then and even more. So, not only does it help you to learn the Avada Kedavra spell but many more. If you use the first method, then you will get to learn only the Avada Kedavra spell, and that is about it.
