Hosted by Jonathan Bennett and Raven Symoné, this holiday competition cooking reality show on Food Network’s fifth season promises a bigger, longer, and better season than the previous ones, with guest judges, surprises, challenges and more stuff that the producers are tight-lipped about when they announced the season and still we’re surely going to enjoy.
Each episode of Holiday Wars kicks off with a few rounds that try to prove each team’s capacity to create a themed-dessert, cookie, or similar using a certain disposition of ingredients. Take for example the Snowball Fight Challenge, in which each team must use cake and sugar to make an edible holiday-themed design in less than on hour.
The winner of that round gets the advantage into what they call the Blizzard round, where they must display all their talent propping up a Christmas display. Then, they are measured on different grounds like aesthetics, presentation, and whoever does the best, gets the fame, the glory and a big cash prize.
