Everybody has known Gordon Ramsay for his very famous show Hell’s Kitchen. Whenever there is a mention of any kind of cooking show, there is no way that hell’s kitchen will not make a mention of that. Whenever, there is any talk about the best cooking shows in the world, Hell’s Kitchen takes a greater spot on that due to its most unconventional and even rude at times approach.
It is not just based on the rules and formalities but is also based upon the real pressure of a chef’s kitchen and the actual situations have to deal with when they are preparing a whole gourmet meal. It gives the chef’s an alternative reality of the pressure that they have to manage as they don’t only judge themselves on their cooking skills but also on their teamwork and time management in the process.
The show was created by Gordon Ramsay himself, and the show was earlier a British show. Post its 5th season, the British cooking reality show disintegrated, and later on, another version of the American version of the cooking show was created. The Hell’s Kitchen has been going on for almost 20 years now. Hells’s Kitchen has been extremely popular from the very first season that aired on May 5th, 2005, and ever since, that show has been renewed continuously, making it to its season 21st.
The first episode of season 21 was aid on September 29, 2022, and the season will have a total of 16 episodes. In this season, some rules are changed, which might also seem surprising to a lot of viewers who have watched the show for years religiously. Generally, the participants of the show are divided into two groups that are a red team and the blue team, purely based on their gender full stop but since the tagline for this year’s season is “Battle of Ages” hence, the show took a turn in that as well.
In this season, the teams were divided not on the basis of gender but on the basis of their age. All the participants who were between the age of 20 to 40 were placed in a group name 20 something, And they were the red team. the blue team consisted of all the participants between the age of 40 and above, and they were given the title of “40-somethings”.
They were made to compete against each other, but this was soon changed as after the third episode, the teams were reshuffled and the new red and blue teams were based on gender. At the end of episodes, someone is eliminated so that we are left with the finalists who compete in the finale.
