Losing to the Titans gave the Dolphins a chance to identify their weaknesses, and with the recent victory, the Dolphins seem to be heading toward the right path.
Ever since Marty Callner created Hard Knocks back in 2001, HBO has consistently covered each team of the NFL. From the Kansas City Chiefs to the Detroit Lions, many teams have been a part of this sports documentary series so far. For 2023, Hard Knocks is going to be focusing entirely on the Miami Dolphins.

Tyreek’s unexpected injury left the players uncertain about their next game. Captain Mike watches the previous game’s clips closely to figure out what may have led their team to lose by one point. At times of adversity, Mike reveals listening to Eminem helps him think clearly.
At a local elementary school, students celebrate Tyreek Tuesday and discuss the match from last night. The kids are sad to see Tyreek end up with an injury, especially when the team was so close to winning. Mary Martinez, their teacher, lets them know that the Miami Dolphins could still win as they had more games left this season.
Bradley Chubb, Duke, and Anthony are disappointed, too, not just because of losing the game but because most of the players this season have suffered from injuries, and this could keep making the team weaker. Considering the scores from last night, these players know that there’s still a lot of work to be done before their final game.
Tua and Tyreek look at clips of the match and realize that even though their team is great, they keep losing because of simple mistakes and not recognizing their weaknesses beforehand. Tyreek gets a brace for his ankle and would need to rest for a while.
Hill must recover quickly as he’s the fastest player on the team, and having him increases their chances of winning significantly. Captain Mike later calls everyone for a team meeting, where he assures players that losing this match was the best thing that could have happened to them.
From Mike’s perspective, losing the game gave them disappointment and embarrassment that they would now use to better themselves and prepare efficiently for the next game with the New York Jets. This was a lesson learned, and instead of sulking over the loss, Mike wants players to give everything they can to the next game.
While the rest of the players are sad about the match, Zach is on a high after he scores a touchdown in it. The pressure of Tyreek’s absence falls on Braxton Berrios, another wide receiver. We get to see a little insight into Braxton’s life with his partner, Alix Earle.
The day of the match arrived, and the Miami Dolphins started off in a great way. The Dolphins score 24, while the NY Jets don’t score anything by the 2nd quarter. The Miami Dolphins win the match by a score of 30.
