The battle against the Covenant rages on in Halo season 2, which sees the Paramount Plus video game adaptation return for additional action this year.
From what we’ve seen thus far, Halo’s second outing appears to be more ambitious than the first. Cortana gave herself command of Master Chief’s body during the conflict on High Charity after Halo season 1, allowing the Silver Team to leave the planet and demonstrating Spartan-117’s fighting prowess.
As season 2 prepares to give us its interpretation of Reach’s demise, the UNSC will need its Spartan warriors to be at the top of their game. See our guide to Halo season 2 below for the most recent trailers and more.
Master Chief John-117 (Pablo Schreiber) leads his elite Spartan force in season two against the Covenant, an extraterrestrial enemy. After a horrific incident on a barren planet, John can’t get rid of the feeling that his war is about to change.
He risks everything to show that the Covenant is getting ready to strike humanity’s strongest hold, even if no one else would believe it. John sets out on a quest to discover the secret that will either save or wipe out humanity as the cosmos approaches its end: The Halo.
For Halo season 2, Pablo Schreiber (American Gods) returns to his role as the Master Chief, John-117. Natascha McElhone, who developed the Spartan-II project, and Jen Taylor, who plays Cortana, the artificial intelligence, are among the other returning cast members.
Bokeem Woodbine, Soren-066, Shabana Azmi, Admiral Margaret Parangosky, Natasha Culzac, Riz-028, Olive Gray, Dr. Miranda Keyes, Yerin Ha, Kai-125, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, Makee, and Danny Sapani, Captain Jacob Keyes are among the others.
It was also reported that Fiona O’Shaughnessy and Tylan Bailey will be back for the second season as series regulars, playing Laera and her son Kessler, respectively.
Preview
A pivotal moment in Master Chief’s conflict with the Covenant is marked by a lethal evacuation mission. At FLEETCOM, a new administration assumes control in Reach. A threat near home is sensed by John. While looking for missing Spartans, John strains the Silver Team to the breaking point, and Kai is concerned for John’s stability.
Without Soren, Kwan discovers that the Rubble is a far more hazardous place. Halsey searches for the person who kidnapped her.
