Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI pre-loading will begin on November 10, 2026, giving players nine days to download the game before its release. The pre-load will require up to 212 GB of available storage, depending on the platform and device.

On PlayStation 5, pre-loading starts at 12 a.m. local time on November 10. Xbox Series X|S players will get access at 12 a.m. GMT on the same date, making the rollout global rather than dependent on individual time zones.

Rockstar also confirmed that code-in-box versions for both consoles should reach retailers starting November 12. These editions will support pre-loading ahead of launch. Players can find platform-specific instructions through the Rockstar Support pre-load FAQ.

Rockstar will add printable GTA 6 cover art and a map of Leonida to its official website on November 19. Both will be available as free digital downloads on launch day.

A physical, double-sided version of the poster will also arrive through the Rockstar Store shortly after release. It will cost $0.99 when purchased separately or be included as a free gift with any store purchase.

Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Players can explore the game’s official media and promotional material through the Rockstar Games website.
