GOT7 is launching new social media accounts to commemorate their highly-anticipated May 2022 comeback that is just around the corner. With a brand-new logo and slogan, “GOT7 is our name,” the heptad group has ditched their old group accounts (that belong to JYP Ent.) and has come out with new social media accounts on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok with the username “got7_isourname”.
Moreover, their logo has also gone through an upgrade with a whole new sleek look to complement the new path that the GOT7 members are taking. The new logo consists of the letter G, which also looks like the number 7. Aghases have also pointed out that the logo looks like a fountain pen nib, further evidence of the stroke of genius that the new logo is!

GOT7’s Brand New Logo Reveal
Here is a look at GOT7’s brand new logo which can look like the letter G, the number 7, or a fountain pen nib depending on your perspective. It is appropriate that the boys of GOT7 will use such a logo since they are out of their parent agency JYP Ent. now, and are embarking on a whole new path and will be the writers of their own journey.

Whereabouts of BamBam, Youngjae, Mark Tuan, & Jackson
GOT7’s Thai member BamBam has confirmed his appearance on fellow GOT7 member Youngjae’s MBC FM4U radio show called ‘GOT7 Youngjae’s Best Friend’, and Aghases were all ready with their cups for all the tea they are about to spill! The duo exchanged various friendly banter, clips of which have since spread like fire among aghases on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Mark Tuan is all set to hold a fan meeting in Thailand by the name of “PULL-UP” with MARK TUAN – FAN MEETING IN THAILAND”. The fan meeting is going to be held on the 28th and 29th of May 2022 at 6 pm (local time). The rumors of a new GOT7 comeback had first started to breed when Mark Tuan returned to South Korea back in March 2022, causing a gleeful ruckus among aghases.
In other news, our favorite fencer-turned-idol Jackson Wang made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show along with American actors Jake Johnson and Natasha Leggero quite recently.
GOT7’s Jin Young’s Numerous Acting Prospects
The multitalented crooner of GOT7, Park Jin Young, who, after completely slaying us with his honey-like voice, is making his own mark (pun intended) in the Korean acting industry, has a lot of gigs lined up for the rest of 2022. He is starting off with the second season of our favorite quirky Rom-com drama, Yumi’s Cells Season 2, which is all set to premiere someday in June 2022.
Furthermore, Park Jin Young has also been reported to be positively considering taking on the lead role in the upcoming drama The Witch (directed by Kim Tae Gyun) alongside actress Roh Jeong Eui, which is based on the webtoon by the same name by Kang Full. Park Jin Young has been offered the role of Lee Dong Jin, who has been hired as a data miner after graduating with a major degree in Statistics.
GOT7 Yugyeom’s First Solo Concert in Berlin, Germany
K-pop concerts are back on the schedules of our favorite idols after a long and tiring dry period due to heartbreaking COVID pandemic restrictions. Among the idols holding concerts recently was our very own GOT7 maknae Yugyeom! Yugyeom, who left JYP Entertainment last year and since then signed in with the famed AOMG, held his very first solo concert titled ‘YUGYEOM meets Germany – The Tour’. The first installment of the solo concert was held in the Verti Music Hall, Mercedes Square in Germany’s capital Berlin. Yugyeom was welcomed by a packed crowd that not only consisted of locals from Europe but also dedicated fans who painstakingly traveled to Berlin from places like far-away Thailand.
Yugyeom has since followed up his solo concerts in the German cities of Munich and Oberhausen (near Dusseldorf). According to the organizer of the solo concerts, more than 3500 people came to attend the concert in Germany alone, giving us a rough idea of how wildly popular the dance-machine maknae of GOT7 is!
