Ghosts’ third season begins where we left off. Sam and Jay rush into the house in an attempt to identify the ghost that has been sucked off. To be honest, I thought it would be Odessa A’zion’s Stephanie the Prom Ghost finally receiving a kiss, but I would soon find out that I was wrong.
Pete, Sasappis “Sass,” and Trevor are still staying at the Woodstone B&B when we first see them. Pete screams for everyone to “get to your suck off buddy!” in terror after discovering that one of the spirits has been sucked off. Ghosts is the perfect combination of humorous humor and dire circumstances.
Next, we find out that every ghost in the basement has been identified, courtesy of Nancy (Betsy Sodaro). Thankfully, we then get to see Alberta and Hettie. These are the series’ most beloved characters by me. That would have really bothered me.
Recap
We meet the decapitated greaser spirit Crash, who tells us he literally stuck his head into the attic and spotted Stephanie (the prom ghost) soundly asleep. Though he is safe, Isaac rushes in, anxious about Nigel. That just leaves Flower and Thor. In my opinion, I would be more unhappy about one than the other.
The spirits from the basement have finally left and have refused to return after seeing the light from the main floors. It would be impossible to give up the facilities, the TV, and the sunshine. The basement ghost Nancy, on the other hand, detests that they are all in her personal area. She desires their removal! Her haven and location to “get away from those weirdos” was upstairs, but it’s destroyed now.
Pete, Hetty, and Alberta discover that Flower was also pals with the ghosts in the basement when he is attempting to explain to them why they must return there. Everybody had a particular place in their hearts for her. Feeling bad, Hattie and Alberta extend an invitation to the memorial to them.
Every ghost at Flowers Memorial shares their most treasured recollections of Flower and the reasons she meant so much to them. Thor said, “I will miss her forever.” Nancy is unable to tolerate the ghosts from the basement in her space after that. Thus, she fabricates a falsehood to persuade the gang to return to the basement, and it works!
What are our next steps, then? The episode was one of the funniest in a while, but it ends with an anticlimactic loss for Flower. To be honest, there was a part of me that honestly believed Flower would show up at her own memorial, and that Stephanie would be the one who was sucked off.
