In the fast-paced K-pop industry, where several idols debut every day, Ferry Blue – A K-pop Girl Group, debuted in 2021 and they are managed by D Ocean Music. At the time of its debut, it consisted of seven members, and upon the departure of one of them, six members are now part of this group.
All the members of Ferry Blue are students of K-Pop Music Production at Paekche Institute of Arts. They debuted on September 6, 2021, with their debut single, Call My Name. Call My Name is a song with unique songs with crisp pop-style vocals and beats that make you dance to the song. The song has different sections. The song starts high on energy, and the beats are set in the pre-chorus, building a rap up to the chorus, and then the harmonies set in, along with synths that make this song a party to listen to.
Ferry Blue’s latest single, Game Over, released in 2022, was a change in the overall sound of the group. The song starts with crisp and melodious vocals of the girls, the energy, along with harmonies, build the pre-chorus leading to the beat-drop with some insane high-pitch vocals. Dojin, Xiho, Hyeyoung, Seul, Seona, and Hyunji are currently the six members of the girl group FERRY BLUE.
Members
Dozin
Jin Dojin or Dozin is the leader of the South Korean Girl Group Ferry Blue. She was born on June 21, 1994, and her birth name is Kim Dahee. Dozin’s MBTI is INFP, and she has been a part of the group since its debut in 2021. Recently, on July 11, 2023, she also made her soloist debut with the song “If You Like Me”.
Dozin has a Youtube channel where she posts her covers. However, she has not posted any covers since August 17, 2020. She has been a former member of the groups “BABA” from 2016-17 and “Blue Fox” from 2018-19. Her stage names for the formerly mentioned groups have been “Seoli” and “Daya,” respectively.

Xiho
Hwang Yurim or Xiho, is a member of the girl group Ferry Blue. She was born on February 7, 2000. Xiho’s MBTI is INFP. She has mentioned that one of her favorite songs is “Santa Tell Me” by Ariana Grande.
Apart from being multi-talented, Xiho is also a dancer and choreographer at VIVA Dance Studio. Xiho also has an alternative name, and that is Yetta. She is the dancer in the group Ferry Blue.
Hyeyoung
Yoon Hyeyoung, or Hyeyoung, is a Dancer, Vocalist, and Rapper in Ferry Blue. Hyeyoung’s MBTI is ESFJ, and she is from Daegu in South Korea. Hyeyoung was born on March 14, 2001.
Additionally, Hyeyoung is a leader in the group “Sparkling” under Future Idol, and they made a debut on September 9, 2021. Hyeyoung mentions that her role models are Chungha, SAAY, and BTS Jimin. Hyeyoung adds that her favorite songs are “Killing Me” and “Remind of You” by Chungha and “Love Poem” by IU.
Seul
Lee Seul, or Seul, is the Main Rapper in Ferry Blue and was born on August 17, 2001. She admits that she does not know her blood type, and her nickname is “Aesthetic Queen.” She mentions her favorite songs to be “FXXK WIT US” by Lee Hi and “Graduation” by Broccoli, you too.
Seul’s role model is OH MY GIRL’s Mimi. Additionally, she likes spaghetti and enjoys clicking photographs. Her MBTI is either INFP or INTP.
Seona
Seona, or Baek Seona, is a vocalist and dancer in the group Ferry Blue. She was born on October 5, 2001, and her MBTI is ENTP. She is a member of the indie duo “Friday.” Her role model is Beyonce.
Seona is in charge of acting cute in the group, and she has a twin brother. Seona has a Youtube channel where she posts covers, blogs, and the like.
Hyeonji
Jeon Hyeonji or Hyeonji, is the vocalist and maknae in Ferry Blue. She was born on November 14, 2001, and her MBTI is INTJ or ENTJ. Hyeonji’s role model is IU. She is also a member of GoT vocal crew.
She is really flexible and operates a YouTube channel where she posts her covers. Some of Hyeonji’s favorite things are the sound of a piano, strawberry paper, and Harry Potter. Additionally, she is also a vocal crew.
Debut
Ferry Blue debuted on September 6, 2021, as a K-pop girl group with their digital single “Call My Name”. At the time of its debut, Ferry Blue consisted of seven members who are, Dozin, Xiho, Hyeyoung, Seul, Seona, Hyunji (Hyeonji), and Yeji. Yeji left after the release of the first debut single ever since; Ferry Blue has been a six-member group.
August 21, 2020, was the day when the social media accounts for all the members were activated. In the following week, the company introduced all the members. Ferry Blue was formed by Paekche Institute of Arts as they were students studying in the dance and kpop music production department. Ferry Blue is now managed by D Ocean Music.
Songs and Albums
Introducing themselves as Ferry Blue, they released a single called “Call My Name,” which had the girl group vibe. Later on 21 July 2022, they made a comeback with their second digital single, “Let’s Go, Buddy,” which was released with an instrumental track that had a happy tone to it and was a song of friendship and enjoyment.
Finally, on December 22, 2022, they released their third single, “Game Over,” which consists of EDM music and dance music that has changed the initial genre they debuted with. Game Over is somewhat of a bold and more expressive concept, and the girls seem more confident in the song.
