Action movie Fast Five, which was written and directed by Justin Lin, is a 2011 release. It is the second movie of the second trilogy and the fifth entry in the Fast and the Furious movie franchise.
On April 20, 2011, it was first made available in Australia, and then on April 29, 2011, it was made available in the US. While being sought for arrest by DSS agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), Fast Five follows Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker), and Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster) as they plot a heist to steal $100 million from dishonest businessman Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida).
To change the franchise into a heist action series involving vehicles, Universal Studios purposefully strayed from the street racing theme present in earlier films in the series when creating Fast Five. They did this to draw in larger audiences that might otherwise be turned off by a focus on vehicles and automotive culture.

Fast Five Filming Locations
Rio de Janeiro
Along with Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) and Mia (Jordana Brewster), Toretto eludes capture in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in the Fast Five movie. The Statue of Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, the view of the sea from the Dona Marta vantage point, and the seemingly unending favelas that cover the surrounding hills are just a few of the iconic sights that make the city instantly recognizable.
Navajo Bridge
The Colorado River Railway Bridge at Parker was digitally enhanced to give the scene a little more weight in the Fast Five movie’s one practical stunt conclusion as Toretto and Brian jump into the Colorado River.
Modern Art Museum
While Toretto and O’Conner gather the squad in Fast Five to strip Reyes of his enormous wealth, the angled exterior of the Museu de Arte Moderna is what Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) sees as he exits the airport rather than Rio de Janeiro International.
Teodoro Moscoso Bridge
The Teodoro Moscosco Bridge, which spans the Laguna San Jose to connect San Juan with the adjoining Isla Verde neighborhood, is the setting for the chase scene’s finale in the Fast Five movie.
Plot Of The Movie
Mia Toretto and Brian O’Conner lead an attack on the bus that is carrying Dominic Toretto to Lompoc prison, forcing it to crash and releasing Dom. The group flees to Rio de Janeiro while the authorities look for them.
Mia and Brian decide to work with their pal Vince and other participants to steal three automobiles from a train while they wait for Dom to show there. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) agents are also on the train, and Brian and Mia find out that the cars are seized goods.
When Ziz arrives with the other participants, Dom learns that one of the participants is only interested in stealing one car, a Ford GT40. Zizi kills the DEA agents assigned to the automobiles as Dom and Brian fight Zizi and his henchmen, and Dom then instructs Mia to steal the car on her own.
Dom and Brian are taken into custody by the criminal Hernan Reyes, who is also Zizi’s boss. Reyes orders the two to be interrogated to uncover the location of the car, but they manage to escape and head back to their shelter.
Vince shows up and is seen attempting to extract a computer chip from the car while Brian, Dom, and Mia analyze the vehicle to determine its significance. When he claims he had intended to sell the chip to Reyes on his own, Dom forces him to leave.
When Brian examines the chip, he learns about Reyes’ criminal enterprise and discovers where $100 million in cash is hidden. DSS agent Luke Hobbs and his team head to Rio to arrest Dom and Brian after Dom and his crew are accused of killing the DEA officers on the train.
They enter Dom’s safehouse with the help of local police officer Elena Neves, only to discover that Reyes’ men are attacking it. After they escape Rio, Dom encourages Brian, Dom, and Mia to break up and leave the city, but Mia discloses that she is expecting Brian’s child.
