Haikyuu!! is currently making waves in theaters with its latest installment, Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle has just released its first official clip.
The movie picks up right where the TV anime’s fourth season left off, showing the much-anticipated Nationals match between Karasuno and Nekoma high schools. This showdown, eagerly awaited by fans of Haruichi Furudate’s original manga, serves as the first half of the anime’s planned grand finale.
Following its premiere in Japan earlier this year, Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle is now hitting theaters across North America. Fans are flocking to see how the anime kicks off its final chapter.
Crunchyroll has treated fans to a special sneak peek clip, featuring Shoto Hinata and Kenma Kozume preparing for their intense Nationals match.
Directed by Susumu Mitsunaka and produced by Production I.G., Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle is now showing in theaters throughout the United States and Canada.
The film runs for a total of 85 minutes and features character designs by Takahiro Kishida, with Takahiro Chiba serving as chief animation director. The original TV anime’s voice cast returns to bring the characters to life once again. This movie is the first of two planned feature films that will end the Haikyu!! anime franchise.
