Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is preparing to bring FromSoftware’s acclaimed open-world action RPG to Nintendo Switch 2, with Bandai Namco Entertainment America releasing a new gameplay showcase ahead of its August 28 launch. The footage highlights several core features players can expect when they enter the Lands Between, including Tarnished customization, Spirit summons, and cooperative multiplayer.

The showcase also gives Nintendo players a closer look at how they can approach battles and build their characters while facing the dangerous enemies scattered throughout the game’s open world. The release combines the original Elden Ring experience with its acclaimed Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.

Elden Ring Tarnished Edition includes the base game and Shadow of the Erdtree, allowing Switch 2 players to experience the full adventure across the Lands Between and the Realm of Shadow. The edition also introduces two new Starting Classes, additional character armor, and customization options for Torrent, the player’s spectral mount.

Players can also summon spirits during difficult encounters and join other players to tackle challenging battles. The game is currently available for preorder on Nintendo Switch 2 and launches on August 28.
