Elden Ring is an open-world action RPG developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki with worldbuilding by George R. R. Martin, the game takes players to the vast fantasy realm of the Lands Between, where they assume the role of the Tarnished in a quest to restore the shattered Elden Ring and become the Elden Lord. Combining the challenging combat of FromSoftware’s Soulsborne games with expansive exploration, horseback traversal, deep character customization, and optional multiplayer, Elden Ring is widely regarded as one of the greatest video games ever made.
