In the previous chapter of Dungeon Odyssey, the envoys of the three labyrinths on the ninth floor, namely – Dreams, Swamp, and Wanderers, come to extend an invitation for a conference. The emissaries claim that the conference is extremely important since the labyrinth owners will be deciding the future of the ninth floor.
Jinwoo is not exactly convinced because he believes this conference would be a trap. However, the emissary claims that the conference is urgently required since the tenth-floor aristocrats are planning to attack the ninth floor. Jinwoo is taken aback by the sudden bold claim about a future attack.
He thinks about the aristocrats on the tenth floor and the fact that they didn’t make a move even during the Great War. Jinwoo felt like the labyrinth owners might be lying to him, but of course, he couldn’t be sure since there was still a faint possibility that the tenth-floor aristocrats might declare war on them.
Jinwoo decides to see the Wandering Merchant, who is still at the Ruins of the Dead Labyrinth in the Barren Wasteland. He had disappeared after the war and was basically constructing the labyrinth again. It looked like the Wandering Merchant was a bit disappointed because the labyrinth core was almost shattered.
Jinwoo claimed that it was Valerius’s fault, but even that guy was found dead by the Merchant. Jinwoo shatters the labyrinth core and threatens the Wandering Merchant with the labyrinth seed.
